"Super-well equipped and beautifully renovated. The owner has thought of everything so immediately felt like home and perfect for our stay with the extended family. The two front rooms in particular have lovely sunrise views over Slapton Ley. The kitchen setup is outstanding with good quality accesories ... about the only thing missing is an ice cream maker :)."

"We loved our stay at 10 At The Beach and didn’t want to leave at the end of our vacation. Lovely views of the sea and lake from the lounge bay window. Good pub , farm shop and cafe very close by. Comfortable beds. Plenty of crockery, cutlery etc. I had a couple of negatives: it was very hot weather and you could do with a fan in each bedroom. The fridge is small and there is no cupboard space to store any provisions you may bring with you, internet isn’t great but better on the beach! I would definitely stay here again and would recommend."

"Swan’s Nest is really well-designed with the big lounge-kitchen-diner upstairs to get the very best out of the stunning views over Slapton Ley. Another great benefit of this layout is that the bedroom stays cool, even in this year’s heat-wave conditions!The property is beautifully kept, clean and well-equipped. Our host checked in with us via WhatsApp at the start and end of our stay with very friendly and helpful advice.I would definitely recommend staying here."

"USP of this apartment is its great location by the beach. I loved the views of the beach from the bedroom and lounge. Great bathroom and very pleasant bedrooms. However we were disappointed that it wasn’t a Tassimo coffee maker as advertised because we purchased some pods in advance as suggested. There was a Dolce Gusto machine instead with a generous supply of pods but unfortunately it didn’t seem to be working."

"It's a fantastic well equipped house, but some of the bedrooms have very old doors with gaps in them and loose door knobs. One of the toilet seats was a bit loose. A large metal table outside has some sharp edges.But overall we had a great time in a lovely location."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartment which we used as a base for exploring the South West Coast Path between Salcombe and Dartmouth. The apartment was comfortably furnished and very well equipped. We highly recommend staying there. Neil.was very helpful"

"Wonderful house with fabulous view. But considering the otherwise excellent quality of a house for 12 people it is very poorly equipped in several respects. Only one small cafetière. Very few normal tumbler glasses, none matching. A miscellaneous motley bunch of cutlery from various sets. Several normal kitchen utensils absent. Also the “windows” which are wierd sliding doors are very hard to operate. And the “ample parking for 3 cars” would only suit very small cars. (The guide in the house says there’s space for 4 cars which is a lie.)"
