"We are bike touring and this is one of the nicest places that we have stayed on our route. A good breakfast got us going for the day. It may be useful to for other bikers to know that the nearby restaurant was closed and there is no grocery stores nearby so come prepared."

There are two restaurants, but best to reserve a table in advance as the venue is often used for weddings (being a picturesque location).

"We had a night at this hotel on our way to Italy and it was a perfect place to stop and very close to the motorway. Easy parking. Staff friendly and helpful. "This hotel is in a building that houses businesses. Our room was small, but efficient! Stairs only! Host was very helpful in extending our stay! Room was clean. Only complaint is person in room next to ours had window opened and was smoking. No one wants to smell that 😅. "

"A wonderful hotel with a view that could not be matched in the area. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was a godsend as it was quite warm outside. The view from the terrace should not be missed. The property is a stone’s throw from old castle ruins (free) and an underground sandstone quarry (there is an admission fee), as well as a short walk from the old town. Full disclosure: the hotel is on the top of a hill. While the walk into town was all downhill and relatively easy, the walk back up to the hotel could be viewed as somewhat strenuous."
