Not a bad place for a basic motel. Nothing fancy just a clean room and quiet. Definitely dated decor and furnishings. Unfortunately bed wasn’t very comfortable definitely not suited for a bad back. But still would recommend if you’re looking for a clean quiet room that’s on the main road fairly close to everything. Price wise they were cheaper than quality inn but still kinda high for the type of room and lack of amenities.

The gentleman was very nice that owned the property. But the entire room is very outdated. It also had a musty smell. When I tried to wash up in the morning I ran the water for quite awhile and never got hot water. The room was clean but the draperies had mold on the back of them. The chair in the room was stained very badly. On a good note si nce we were the only ones there it was quiet and I did sleep well.

As stated in previous reviews, Judy’s motel is a clean, cute, homey place to stay after traveling. There are restaurants close by.

This is an older property that has been well cared for, is extremely clean, and the owner is very friendly and helpful. While it lacks anything other than the basics, it's affordable, safe and very clean. I'm sure we'll stay again.

Older hotel, but the friendliness of the operators more than makes up for the lack of modernization. The only downside was waiting for hot water. Plenty once it started, but had to be patient. We were informed, in advance about the hot water.

Judy’s Motel is an older motel family owned and operated. Owners are very friendly and we’re helpful when we had any questions. The room was very clean and beds comfortable. The location was close to town and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Bedford Getaway
We love the area, lots to do and see. Our stay was comfortable. We were greeted by the owner, Bill, when we arrived. He made sure we were acquainted with the room amenities and gave us restaurant recommendations. My family is in nearby cemetery and we try to get up at least once a year. We also explored the Duncansville area this time and had fun at the indoor flea market.

Great Stay at Judy's Motel, Bedford, PA
Judys Motel is well cared for and very clean and tidy. Bill and his wife do a fantastic job seeing to every need of their guests. We will definitely be coming back next year. Highly recommend!! A+++

Judy’s Motel is a step back to the 50’s and 60’s. The place is very unique. Well kept, clean, and a reminder of where motels began. We would return on any trip east via the PA Turnpike. Owner/Staff is very friendly and informative regarding the area. His recommendations on dining were very helpful steering us to local favorites. Treat yourself when heading east and spend a night at Judy’s and enjoy history.

Wasn't sure what to expect because I just needed a place to sleep between Michigan and Virginia Beach and didn't want to spend a lot. Feel like I won the lottery. Upon arrival I was greeted by Bill, half of the couple who own the place, and he showed me everything I needed to know about the room while we struck up a great conversation. The room was a quaint throwback to the days of independent hotels -- very comfortable, very clean. Bill gave me a recommendation for a restaurant and greeted me when I returned from dinner to check in on my experience. Had a wonderful quiet night. I don't have anything against chain hotels but it felt great to get royal treatment from someone who sincerely cared about my experience and wanted to take the time to have a little chat. I would definitely stay again.
