A wonderful stay in a well appointed cottage with great hosts and location
I stayed in 2 different locations while in the Loire Valley and this was by far the best. The previous accomodation was close to Chambord and Chenenceau and that was all that gave it merit. I was delighted with the accomodation here itself: elegantly furnished but not overly bric a brac-Ed as too many stays are. Quality inclusions throughout - very room was spacious, well lit, well placed power points and a well equipped kitchen. The hosts Daniele and Jean-Paul were friendly, helpful and always available to answer questions and advise on the locality. In my 5 months of travel in France only a few stays have come close to their high standard of hosting. The location is very central for visiting Chateaux, exploring picturesque villages and lake swimming at Bourgueil. I feel I couldn’t have had a better Loire Valley experience than this wonderful stay.

Fantastic location and hosts!
Hosts were amazing - super friendly and helpful. Jean-Paul spoke very good english (better than our French). Location was just perfect, especially for cycling enthusiasts. They let us lock our bikes in their garage and the house was gated so felt really secure. Lots of cycling routes so you won't get bored. Gite was the perfect size as we were a couple.

Excellent place to stay, ideal base for cycling. Nothing better than relaxing at the end of the day in wonderful tranquility. The cottage is immaculate, spacious and equipped with everything you could possibly need.

Ideal Cottage for Cycling and Sightseeing
Excellent cottage in a peaceful and beautiful location. The cottage is immaculate, tastefully presented and well equipped with everything you could need. Ideally situated for access to the Loire a Velo and other local cycle rides Danielle and John Paul are excellent hosts, extremely helpful and very knowledgeable regarding local history and places to visit. Avoine is close by and has a small supermarket, several shops, bakery etc including the Bar du Centre which is a pleasant spot to pop in for a glass of wine. It is our second visit to this property and we will definitely return.

Excellent Cottage, Fabulous Location!
If you are looking for a cottage ideally placed for visiting the sites of the Loire or for cycling, look no further. The cottage is excellent, very spacious and comfortable with everything you could possibly need, very tastefully furnished. A lovely quiet location but just 1.20 miles into the town on quite lanes and a cycle path - would certainly recommend Bar du Centre for lunchtime food, unfortunately it does not serve food in the evening. The owners Danielle and Jean Paul were very friendly and welcoming but not intrusive in any way. We spent 2 fabulous weeks cycling on quiet roads and designated cycle routes, with lots of local routes available either direct from the cottage or just a short drive away. If we return to this part of France this would definitely stay here again.

A fantastic place to stay!
We were given a warm welcome to this beautifully furnished and well equipped gite! The rooms were large and airy. There's a great shower and the kitchen was better equipped than an other gite we've stayed in. A peaceful location from which to enjoy cycling and seeing the sites of the Loire Valley. A splendid gite
The owners were very welcoming and were helpful. The gite has three spacious rooms and a shower room. This is the best we have ever stayed in. It is in an a good location to explore the Loire valley. I highly recommend this property and if we return to this area we will definitely book this gite.
