Thanksgiving On the Marsh
My 85 year old mom and my 12 year old son and I stayed here for Thanksgiving. Michelle was so accomodating she even brought a turkey roasting pan for us to cook Thaksgiving dinner. My son and I enjoyed playing in and around the marsh with the dogs and meeting the neighbors. My mom enjoyed the fire pit and sitting in the sun watching the Spanish moss blow through the trees. We used the bike that was in the storage room and we enjoyed everything about downtown Beaufort, only a few blocks away. We would definitley stay there again.

Manage Expectations
Property was clean but needs upkeep: Indoors the MBR fan has no speed control and wobbles significantly. Two TV's and one control that works. No instructions on how to operate the main TV and/or navigate the system. Outdoors the BBQ pit is minimal, and the firepit was full of moss and bush trimmings with 4 stumps. Neither area was inviting at all.

Beaufort Cabin
This was a great home with all the amenities we needed. A question that we had was answered promptly. We usually rent places that are more secluded, so we were apprehensive about being in a neighborhood. However, we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. We would definitely recommend this property. The homeowner and property manager were great to work with.

An amazing vacation
The house is exactly what my husband and I needed!!! It was very clean, in a great location. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt very safe. We have stayed in a few different places in Beaufort and by far this house was our favorite. We hope to stay here again!!!

Uncomfortable
The property is nice. The inside is clean. The problems are The master bed sinks badly. Think of the mattress as a big sinkhole. The floor and the living room couch was more comfortable. The kids room with the pullout bed was fair. The futon according to MY MARINE was no better than the beds on base. The rules for the thermostat setting are no good. When the book instructs not to lower it below 74 in hot weather it will freeze up. I would suggest getting it changed out. it would take 3 to 4 hours. Comfortable is one of the reason people stay. not to be uncomfortable in a nice rental, espeacially when people come down to not just look around in the town but come to support THE MARINES that the people come to see.
