Clean room with amazing views!
Staff were very happy and friendly.
Lovely Fijian night on the Saturday with traditional cooking & dancing.
Free snorkeling & Kayaking available.
Great selection of food & drink behind the bar / restaurant.
Evening entertainment was ok, could mix it up a little with more variety.
Nice pool area with pool bar.
Really the only feedback i have is that there should be a nightly activity. But seriously if thats all that i can offer thats not a big deal. Solo traveller, made me feel special and welcomed when wanted and left me alone when i wanted. Perfectly relaxing. Safety is their top priority and appreciate all the extra efforts in ensuring that for all guests. Massage was amazing and can day enough about the bar staff. Vinaka for a relaxing few days!
The idyllic island and sandy beach, cheerful staff, relaxing and well appointed accommodations, opportunities for activities and merry-making, and delicious food all make this an exceptional getaway.
Had a wonderful 2 night stay. Loved this place. Beautiful little island, great staff, great room and the food was well done. You can snorkle right off the beach or the staff will take you out to a nearby reef on their boat. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you.
We had fabulous time at Beachcomber Island Resort. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely food even though we are vegetarians everything was catered for. We had clean room, bathroom was clean and nice ocean views. I spent most of my time sitting on the deck and watching the ocean . It was so relaxIng. The Manager Hannah has been great looking after her guests.

Room was clean and tidy. Simple, but authentic. Nice bathroom. Beach is stunning and easy access. We had the full board package and food was just okay…nothing more. Drinks are expensive but that is standard for an island. Staff are friendly but not always accurate in their information…like telling us that turtles are mammals!
Lovely island with friendly staff and very nice beaches and views. The bathroom in the hotel room wasn’t completely clean in some places but the bed was comfortable and the overall decor was nice, and the air con worked well. There was a large range of good food on offer and there were lots of activities and excursions available to do each day.
If you want a purely quiet, undisturbed, retreat-style location then you may want to go somewhere else as there is a bit of relaxed background bustle throughout the day, however the vibe on the island is still very relaxing.
Loved the warm water snorkeling and staff providing it. Food is a little pricey , particularly if all you want for lunch is a sandwich. Getting older so can’t really eat that much
Awesome place to relax. Staff are very kind, friendly, welcoming and helpful. Love the views from the rooms and the food was also good. Good balance of peace vs party life. Corals so close by the island.
Items to improve - provide at least a bottle of water per day to rooms, general pricing on everything is quite high and can see it is intentionally trained to staff, provide reasonable cost transfer options to island.
Overall loved the holiday and would do it again. However if doing again, would do 1 or 2 nights than 5 nights as it is same entertainment for all days.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – A Truly Unforgettable Island Getaway!
We stayed at Beachcomber Island for 5 nights and had the most amazing experience from start to finish. The island itself is absolutely stunning, but what truly made our holiday special were the incredible staff who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, relaxed, and completely at home.
Our beachfront bure was beautiful, comfortable, and offered picture-perfect views – the ideal place to wake up each morning. The food was fantastic with plenty of fresh, tasty options and great variety throughout our stay.
We did have one small issue with the shower being a little slow to drain, but it certainly didn’t detract from what was a wonderful and memorable stay.
A very special mention must go to the wonderful team members who made our time unforgettable: Eki, Fresh, Una, and the one and only Queenie. They each brought their own warmth, humour, and genuine kindness, and their positive energy had such a great impact on our holiday. We can’t thank them enough!
If you’re looking for an island paradise with great food, beautiful accommodation, and exceptional staff who make you feel like family, Beachcomber Island is the perfect choice. We can’t wait to return! 🌴💙
The Oceanfront Family Bure with a hammock between your Bure and the ocean, beautiful touch. Our family of four had plenty of room to sleep comfortably. Enjoy snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, mini golf, karaoke, or just bathing in the sun. Enjoy the experience as a day trip or stay over night and feel connected with other guests and the staff. The passion from the traditional Fijian songs to the Sunday evening church option makes this tiny island a unique experience. You can't help but enjoy your time there. It's the first place where I never opened my work laptop nor thought about working. VINAKA!

Aircon did not work properly in my room and was given lip service with no solution making the days hot but nights were cold.
Room had stained sheets and towels but that was addressed promptly and was appreciated.
The shower for the first two days kept losing total pressure. Once in the middle of a shower to where I had to yell out and I believe someone heard me and turned it back on thankfully so I could finish rinsing off.
The spa had the coldest aircon of any place so much that it made the therapists nose keep running until I advised her it was too cold and ok to turn off completely. The massage was amazing and the therapist actually released tension in my neck & back of my knees and bottoms of my feet where I didn’t even realize I had so much tension.
The staff are super friendly kind and helpful and very great to get to know personally as well as some lovely guests.
The food is so repetitive and simple to where I now hate eating chicken fried potatoes and salad. I also was sick for the last two nights with loose stools and nausea but of course they sell pills for it there in the shop because it must happen often.
The SSW rooms were gross because they let people smoke on the patios and in the rooms. One night I was disrupted by the smoke alarm going off. It was also gross waking to the filthy neighbor smoking and the smoke blowing directly in my room with no windows to close completely to block those gross scumbags.
Day trippers 😔 Laundry service no good!

Went for a few days in March. The property is very nice; the beach is great. The “beachfront bure” is really on a rocky side of the island. Feels like an overstatement to call it beachfront. Perhaps oceanfront would be a better descriptive. Definitely needs some upgrading; a door in the shower going to ?? Had the handle broken off and toilet paper was jammed in there. The shower curtains were mouldy. Overall aesthetic issues however. The buffet food was mediocre as buffets tend to be. A la carte food was fantastic however.
The staff were AMAZING. I cannot say enough good things about them. Frosty, thanks for all your warm and hospitable service. The dancers and entertainment crew were also great.
Overall, good value for the price.

Well be better for future guests there was lots of construction and refinishing happening. In the morning they would start working on the Westside of the island and after dinner they would start on the eastside (bar/restaurant/beach/pool) still going at 930pm using power tools bar closed at 10pm so I would be back on the Westside don't know when they finished. So you could escape from most of the noise if you relocated yourself around the island. The most annoying part of my stay was all 3 mornings there was no running water in my "beachfront room" in the two storey building room numbers are SSW##. They would get it back on shortly after it was reported to reception. Found out from another guest that he would find a large hose running across the path to his bure. When the water would come back on it would have some colour to it for a while but would clear up throughout the day. I assume my building was supplied by a cistern or tank that needed filling. Would get an apology from reception but there was no other compensation offered. Food and drink prices are dear compared to the mainland but everything comes by boat and is carried up the beach, I expected to pay a premium and didn't let it impact my trip but heard other guests whinging about the prices. With the new ownership they are making improvements and most of the staff seem to have started since the takeover almost all were friendly and helpful. My spa services were great.
Our family has just returned from the most incredible 8-night stay at Beachcomber Island.
From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and completely at ease. The island is stunning, but it’s the people who make it unforgettable. A very special thank you to Leyah, who went above and beyond to make us feel like family. Her warmth and genuine care made such a difference to our stay.
Every single staff member — from maintenance and housekeeping to the kitchen, reception, bar, spa, entertainment and promotions — was friendly, attentive and always smiling. Special mentions to Charlie, Kane, Lasco, Titi and Ruby for your impeccable service and infectious energy. We arrived as guests and truly left as family.
The team created the most beautiful birthday celebration for me, singing traditional songs and Happy Birthday, surrounded by new friends and fellow guests. It was such a heartfelt moment I’ll never forget.
Our dinner table for four quickly grew into an “Island Family” table of seventeen, with Leyah and other guests joining us. We highly recommend inviting others to sit with you — we left with treasured friendships.
Our Beachfront Bure was spacious and spotless, and stepping onto the deck each morning was breathtaking.
Beachcomber isn’t about five-star luxury — it’s about authenticity, connection and a relaxed island charm that’s wonderfully special.
We made lifelong memories and cannot wait to return. Bula and Vinaka!
