"The host was very cordial and prompt with communication. He was also very accommodating to needs that we found out after booking. We needed eight single beds and he offered to purchase two blow-up mattresses to accommodate us. I thought that went above and beyond. The picture on the site of the hot tub overlooking the lake is not accurate. If you take the cover off the hot tub, the cover blocks the view of the lake while you're in the hot tub. The pontoon was beautiful. We didn't know enough to ask about the weight limit on the pontoon, so the eight adults there could not go on the pontoon together, which was very disappointing. There were a lot of bees and mosquitoes. The home was clean in all areas except if you looked up! There were a lot of cobwebs and dead bugs on the ceiling. Check out was very easy as we were only required to run the dishwasher and take out the trash, and they took care of everything else. I know this is a mixed bag of a review, but I felt it important to share the good and the bad."

"The home is beautiful and clean inside. Has everything you would need, plenty of towels, blankets and kitchen utensils. Also had a bunch of beach chairs and yard games in the garage which is a huge plus. A number of the windows had huge spider webs in between the windows so we closed the blinds on those windows to not have to look at them. Unfortunately, the lake was very stinky and green, August is not a good time to use this lake. The steps and deck down to the lake and the kayaks would be really nice a different part of year before the lake turned green. Overall it was a very nice property in a nice location and worked great for our party of 8."
