"The BEST! Simply could not have been more perfect. The house was beautiful, tastefully decorated, and exceptionally clean. Upscale pampering is perhaps the way to describe it. Not fussy just very inviting and comfortable. Coffee on the upstairs deck overlooking the sunrise was the ultimate in relaxation and reflection. Have to just say too the beds and linens were exquisite. We (adults!) had so much fun fishing from the dock, watching the wildlife, and entertaining ourselves with all that was furnished with the house that play quickly gave over to talk that "We must come back next year." From the 85 year old to the 8 year old everybody treasured this experience. The host, Andrea, was spot on with everything. If you're wondering...just go for it. You'll thank yourself as soon as you drive up and every minute afterward. The location was very close to an assortment of wonderful restaurants as well."

"Second trip to the Big Chill this year- comfortable place to stay, safe for our big puppy. Extremely clean, yard always looks nice. Closest thing to being at home. "

"This property is absolutely amazing. It has stunning views of Lake Norman from every angle. The two houses share a common driveway and each house is huge with tons of rooms as well as excellent amenities. This is our second stay here in the past 5 years with between 18 to 24 adults. This year, we kayaked the lake, had corn hole tournaments outside in the yard, and used just about every table for a dinner or lunch. The downstairs basement rec room in the Grande house is the best. Pool, shuffle board, video games and a bar. The sunsets are amazing. We want to return. The communication with the host, Avantstay is excellent. I do not have any negatives whatsoever. There is starting to be some "wear and tear" on the house but that is to be expected in a rental property. We appreciated the addition of the two hot tubs even if we only used one of them once. Thank you so much"

"We had a great short stay. Very nice location on the lake and we loved the boathouse and views. Home was very comfortable for our family of 4 and had everything you could need. My teens really appreciated the cookies, was a nice surprise! Larry is a wonderful host and was quick to answer any questions we had. When we had to leave earlier than expected due to an issue back home he was very kind and generous regarding our situation. Many thanks Larry, we hope to visit again. "

"We had a great stay in the Lakefront Villa! The house was clean and well maintained! The hot tub was a great treat, too!There was plenty of room for all! Kelly was a great host who while not onsite was proactive in her communication and responded quickly to our needs.The roads are very quite and safe to take walks on. "

"Multiple bedrooms allowed everyone in our group of 16 to have their own room.Kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware and utinsels.Kids (young and old alike) enjoyed all the arcade games downstairs.Some of our group took the kayak out on the lake.All in all the home met our needs and allowed us to enjoy our time together without no house issues to distract from that."

"The house has an incredible view of the lake from the hot tub, porch, and throughout the kitchen and living area. The yard was large our dogs really enjoyed the space getting to run around the yard. My teenage daughters also really enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board, and we even took a trip to the uninhabited islands on the other side of the lake from the house. Everything you could need is very close, but just be prepared to deal with traffic as Mooresville is growing and struggling to keep up with the infrastructure needed to support it. Overall we really enjoyed out stay here, the layout of the house feels very private, there are games for the kids to play (table tennis, shuffle board, cornhole), the dogs had a great time, and we even enjoyed smores at the firepit using firewood that was provided along with everything needed to make the smores. Would love to come back with friends, as the price is a little high for just a family of 4 with their dogs, but this stay was a last minute switch from another house that had their pool heater stop working 3 days before our trip, so they were very accommodating on short notice. "

"Lake was beautiful. The weather was perfect during our stay. We saw deer, squirrels, and foxes. House was big, clean, and well stocked for eveything we needed. We are already talking about coming back sometime."
