"Medium size hotel with a pool 15 minutes from Zadar Old Town. The rooms were nice and clean, the housekeeping did a great job. No tea or coffee in the room. The pool area was pleasant, plenty of sunbeds but could do with an update. The hotel seems to cater for coach tours, large turnover of guests every night but quite empty during the day, which is nice. There is only one restaurant, which provides breakfast and both buffet and à la a carte dining in the evening. Breakfast was plentiful and a pleasant experience. The evening meal was less so as the restaurant was very busy with the large groups from the coaches. Some of the staff was polite and pleasant (receptionist, barman in the lobby bar, waitresses in the restaurant) but bar staff in the pool bar were generally indifferent and borderline rude at times. We had a sea view room but unfortunately the view was limited by the decorative grill, it would be a great improvement if that could be removed because there would be lovely views. Overall good accommodation but with some care and improvement it could be a lot better."

"Lovely location with a little private beach out front with a beach bar. Lots of positives. Food was lovely. Coffee and free cake is a great deal. Breakfast menu was limited but really tasty. Poached eggs were perfect every time. Staff were nice with good English. Room has lots of thoughtful little touches like a cardboard box to hide the light from the air con display. Hotel common areas were very beautiful. Didn't use the pool or sauna but very nice area. On the down side room was a little small and no balconies so drying clothes etc. was difficult but it's an old building so there is little that could fix that. Lack of kettle is a bit weird as all hot water had to go through the coffee machine and comes out brown with old coffee grounds. Preko is very beautiful and peaceful (in September) and this was a really nice hotel to have as a base. Recommended"

"Hermoso hotel en el casco antiguo de zadar, excelente ubicacion, comodo y limpio. Nosotros elegimos habitacion con baño privado, todo de maravillas, cama y almohadas super comodas ! desayuno a la carta incluido tipo brunch . Nos guardaron las valijas en el check out, y nos consiguieron taxi al aeropuerto, sin duda Volveria!!!"

"This is a lovely hotel about a 15 minute walk to the old town of Zadar. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was exceptional. The personal touch from the owner, who was around at breakfast every day, was appreciated."

"We had a fantastic stay at this apartment on Preko. The Seaviews from the conservatory were incredible. The apartment is a short walk down hill to the main town and the beaches. There is also a large supermarket (Tommy) about a 5 minute walk from the apartment. The owner, Ivo, is a really nice and helpful person, he was always there to advise us and was easily contactable and flexible with check ins (he picked us up from the ferry port). There is also an amazing BBQ area and outside seating area (with Sea views) where we spent a lot of the time. Apartment is comfortable and big enough for us as a family of four (2 adults, 2 children). The Air Con is also very good and did keep the whole apartment at a decent temperature in the evenings. We would definitely stay here again."

"This was a last minute booking when our other places on the island canceled on us. We spent one night here. The actual accommodations are nice and clean, but many areas of the resort are run down and in the process of being upgraded. This is a place for families with children. There are ping pong tables and Soviet era mini golf courses on the premises as well as a new floating bouncy play ground in the water. There are many places to swim and nearby restaurants. The real standout here was the girl working the desk. She was very helpful and always in a good mood. She gave the best customer service that we experienced during our three weeks in Croatia."
