"The customer service is not good. I booked for the apartment and Expedia selected a wrong date. I reached out to the apartment and requested a reschedule. They were unresponsive and unwilling to change the date. I lost the entire money as they refused to refund."

"Great central location but couple of issues - lights in bathroom didn't work, there was a massive ridge in the middle of the floor (trip hazard) & the fridge was not working - in fact it was running very hot & there was a burning smell in the unit (plastic was warping inside fridge around light) - a clear fire risk. When informed Smartflats simply thanked us for the info & made no attempt. to remedy or compensate. Poor service as we rented the apartment to prepare our own food & were limited....

"First of all, the entry key pad to the property did not work. Tried pulling the entry door, it opened. It lead to a flight of dark stairs. Climbed two floors and found that there was construction happening. Went back down and called customer service in the middle of night sitting on the high street bench. "Two months at this apartment - nice and great location. It could have been cleaner. There was a broken lamp on the floor - the toilet had build up - the kitchen floor was dirty and the place was dusty. The sofa is comfortable but its appearance is nasty. I purchased a sheet to cover it. Not happy with only one set of sheets for 2 months - also one set of keys - the garbage “Restfall” bags need to be provided and explained since there’s no dumpster. "Very comfortable apartment, just upstairs from the tattoo parlor. Neighbors were mostly quiet, and very little traffic noise (though we did hear the #4 tram on Nationalle). Less than a 15 minute walk to most of the places we visited. But there are tram stations a five minute walk, and a Velo bicycle stand just a minute or two away. "

"A very luxueuze appartement in the center of Antwerpen. Comfy bathrobes and beds that invite you for a long and healthy sleep. The kitchen is more than fully ecquiped. And all of this at a 5 minutes walk from the city center. The only thing were the stairs; therefore the appartement is not suitable for people who are disabled."

"This is not suitable property for a normal traveler. The property is poorly converted house. The owner had let someone stay in one of the rooms in the rented apartment that I had booked while I was there. I did feel safe to go out or even use the shower as there was someone else there who I did not know. It was like a bad flophouse."

"Convoluted entry, especially when handling luggage. Found hair in the bed and crumbs on the couch. We were not told about the supply closet and how to access it. No information on how to operate the oven or washer/dryer and no one was available when we tried to start a chat. Location was convenient, but, I would not stay here again or recommend it. "
