Funstays Glamping! Enjoy the camping and outdoor experience in the comforts of this Park Model Cabin!

Located at Blue Spruce RV Park & Cabins, this Cabin is setup and ready to use upon arrival. We own and manage the park along with the Cabin and we have an onsite staff for anything needed, just like a hotel.

Located 40 minutes northeast of Durango, CO, Blue Spruce RV Park & Cabins is a quiet, full amenity campground in The Vallecito Lake Community. Our park is nestled in The San Juan National Forest and backs up to the mountains. The park is a short drive to Vallecito Lake and surrounded by great hiking trails and outdoor activities. Our amenities include a dining hall for group events, game room with parlor games (pool tables, air hockey, darts), basketball court, horseshoe pit, ping pong table, and a great outdoor pavilion. We offer multiple cabins, park apartments, and pre-setup RV's for rent. We are a perfect launching point for endless outdoor fun with amenities to keep you and your kids busy when back at the park.

A personal gas grill, picnic table, and firepit are setup outside your cabin for the optimal camping experience!

The Space:

This is a 1 bedroom cabin with another loft bedroom. It has 1 bathroom and sleeps 5.

This rental includes:
• 1 queen sized bed in bedroom. 1 queen sized bed in loft. One full size futon that folds out in living area.
• Please note that there is a staircase that leads up to the loft and the loft ceiling is 3’-4’ tall.
• All bedding and towels are provided
• Bath soap, shampoo, and dish soap are provided
• Fully stocked kitchen to cook your own meals which includes basic cookware, flatware, dishes & glassware.
• Free Cable TV. Free Wifi sufficient for email, zoom calls and social media. Streaming can be a challenge when the park is busy.
• AC & Furnace
• Full Bathroom. (RV Park also has Communal Bathrooms w/additional showers if needed.)
• Standard Coffee Maker w/filters
• Personal firepit, picnic table & gas grill outside rental (propane provided for grill, firewood for sale at park)
• On site coin operated laundry room

Requirements to Rent:
• Park quiet hours of 9pm-7am is enforced
• No smoking, no bikes inside
• Not required, but we kindly ask you to remove shoes while in the rental, particularly in carpeted areas
• No more than two licensed vehicles of any type are permitted per site.
• Extra parking for vehicles and trailers is available but not guaranteed. Please reach out to us to arrange prior to arrival.

Best little gem near durango

We had the most amazing time at the cottonwood cabin we rented for a few nights. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed all the playing areas available for all ages. We love everything about it and didn't want to go home. Thank you!!

Great place especially if you have pets.

We used this cabin as a base camp and loved it. It’s such a beautiful area and the only noise is the squirrels, birds and roosters.

Greatest Stress reducing trip I have ever had.

We had a great stay at the blue spruce. We have been staying at this camp site for many years. This year we rented a cabin best idea we ever had. Cabin had all the amenities. We had enclosed porch that made sitting outside fabulous read a book or drink a cup of tea. Cabin was ver well insulated from the cold and out side noises. Staff was very friendly and eager to help. It may be a little far out from Durango but the drive is fabulous. It is close to the lake though. Can’t wait to schedule another vacation to Blue Spruce.
