Overall, there were certain aspects of my stay at RIU Palace Punta Cana that I enjoyed, but there are several areas that I believe need significant improvement. First, the bathrooms are in need of updating. The showers feel old and outdated, and the water pressure was disappointing. The toilet also had extremely poor water pressure and did not function as well as I would expect from a RIU Palace resort. The restaurant situation was another major concern. There were not enough restaurants open to properly accommodate the number of guests staying at the resort. Since guests are not allowed to make reservations, it was often difficult to get into the restaurants. This left many guests with no real option other than going to the buffet. RIU should consider opening more restaurants or implementing a reservation system so guests can better plan their dining experience. I was also very disappointed with the quality of the drinks. Both the alcoholic beverages and basic non-alcoholic drinks seemed to rely heavily on artificial syrups and flavorings, which gave them a very unpleasant aftertaste. At an all-inclusive resort, guests should be able to enjoy good-quality drinks. Using better mixers, real juices, and higher-quality ingredients would greatly improve the experience. The RIU parties were also far too overcrowded. Guests from multiple RIU resorts are brought together for the same party, resulting in an overwhelming number of people at one event. This was our 7th trip to Casa De Campo. Obviously we love it there obviously! This time we decided to stay there the longest we've stayed, 10 days. We rented a villa like we did in 2025 and had a great experience because we were upgraded because of our Expedia status. But this time we were not upgraded. We weren't even offered an upgrade. This is the first time we haven't been upgraded. Our 3 bedroom villa was on the dark side at night, dimly lit. Also it was on the older side. We were told it is central AC, which we discovered actually meant that the living room had AC. The 3 bedrooms were units. The service at Casa De Campo is exceptional. Hard to describe how good it is. Food is incredible, but very expensive - NYC prices. Since we rented a villa we had a private concierge. We had a great concierge in Francis Lappost - we appreciated that a lot! We are hoping to be back next year with a big group next year and hope we get a great villa and an upgrade like we expect every year. May cut back to 7 days since 10 days wasn't a great experience. Highly recommended as a unique Dominican Experience.

Lo mejor de la propiedad es el servicio de todo su personal (mayordomo, recreación, restaurantes). Lo que menos me gustó fue las condiciones de mi habitación (el AC nunca funcionó al 100% y había un olor no muy agradable)
