Cute house on Saginaw Bay with hot tub on private beach.

This two bedroom house is conveniently located on Saginaw Bay's Aplin beach. The home sleeps 7 comfortably (1 bedroom with a queen size bed, 1 bedroom with bunk beds and a day bed. There is a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room). A beautiful view of the bay can be seen from the living room that leads to the deck which includes a new 7 person hot tub. There is a lawn for outdoor games that joins your private beach. You can access the ice in Winter months via the beach. Most of our guests choose to leave their snow machines and ice shanties parked on the beach during their stay. An open concept dining area, living room and kitchen offers space for family and friends to gather. Create your own meals in the well stocked kitchen. A washer and dryer will allow guests to do laundry as needed. We provide bed linens, bath towels, beach towels, soap (laundry, hand, and dish), paper products and Wi-Fi. This home offers all the comforts of home while you're on vacation.

Cool little bayside cottage. Perfect for a weekend getaway to see the fall leaves. Was close to Bay City State park. Hosts very responsive. Would book again.

Beautiful time

We only could only stay for a couple of days, but it was extremely relaxing. We spent the whole time sitting outside on the deck, watching the sailboats go by.

Overall a great experience. Owners were quick to respond to messages. Nice little cottage right on the lake. Equipped with everything you need. Extra attention included for families with board games, puzzles, interactive games for kids. Very nice place!

Perfect Girls Getaway

Our annual girls trip started at this gem in 2020! We’ve explored other places and decided to return as it’s our favorite location for outdoor activities and relaxation. The hosts are absolutely wonderful!! We could not have asked for a more perfect experience! We will be back :)

Perfect getaway

We had a great time at the cottage. My kids loved playing in the hot tub and on the beach. The cottage was fully stocked with everything we needed. We visited on the fourth of July and it was surprisingly quiet in the area, which I appreciated. All of the neighbors were very friendly.

Great family vacation!

We had a wonderful get a way with our family this cottage. The cottage was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need and we felt right at home. The kids enjoyed the large assortment of toys and games that was provided and loved searching for shells on the beach. The hot tub was an added bonus that we thoroughly enjoyed in the evenings. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had. Although the neighbors are quite close, they are friendly and it is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend this place!

Sunrises and Stars from the Hot Tub

My family and I enjoyed our brief stay! My kids even went in the very frigid lake water! Neighbors were very welcoming and home had everything we needed! We loved watching the sunrises and stars and went in the hot tub several times a day! Only suggestions I would have would be way more hooks to hang up bathsuits, towels, etc and also plastic dishes for the kids (though I may have missed them in the cupboards).

Fantastic Weekend Escape

My partner and I were looking for a weekend escape on the water, and Scott & Jill's place more than delivered. We enjoyed the hot tub, fantastic view of the bay and relaxed atmosphere to the fullest extent. The house was cute, clean and cozy and had everything available to us. The hosts were very communicative and we really felt at home for the weekend. Our only regret is not staying another night! The neighbors were friendly and receptive. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get away and spend some time near the water!!!

Relaxing, scenic .

We enjoyed the house and property. Visited with neighbors. Went fishing, had a great day. Did not receive the 4 digit code prior to arriving, tried to contact someone, but no reply. Had a good idea it would be our phone no, but I panicked for no reason. Really did enjoy our stay .

We didn’t want to leave! Such a perfect place, in a perfect location, with a perfect view! ❤️

We had a quick weekend getaway and wished we could have stayed longer. The pictures do not do this place justice. They had everything you would need. No detail left out. You are right on the beach (no weeds, no slime, just sand). The water was calm and warm - perfect for cooling off after laying in the sun. The neighbours are amazing - so friendly and helpful. There is plenty to do in town which is just a few minutes away - restaurants, shopping - you name it. We can’t wait to go back! Thanks for having us! Jen and John, Harrow, Ontario.

This small beachfront house is ideal for getting away from the hustle and bustle of life. From the fully furnished kitchen to the back deck looking out to the beach and wonderful view of Saginaw Bay, this house was charming and had ample room for our family of six. The hosts have provided plenty of games to entertain yourself on those days or nights you need to stay inside. There is a beach firepit and there is even firewood for purchace onsite. We will be looking to book this little gem down the road when we just need a getaway again.

Loved it! Great for a girls' weekend. The cute house was nicely decorated and spotless. It had every amenity that we needed and space for the three of us to have our own sleeping area with the two bedrooms and a pull out couch. Back deck had furniture on which to sit and have our morning coffee and an area of grass before the private beach area with a fire pit. Plastic Adironack chairs were easy to carry to there for the bonfire (firewood available for purchase right on the property) and into the water to sit while sunning ourselves. Plenty of board/card games were available for a fun time in the evening after the sun went down, as well as the hot tub with plenty of beach towels. Neighbors were nice and really helpful. It's not too far a drive to downtown Bay City, although you might want to avoid the bridge that says it has a toll (still waiting to see if we get that bill in the mail). Lots of cute bars and restaurants there. We only stayed two nights, as that is all that was available, but really wished we could have stayed longer. Would definitely come back!
