Spacious rooms. Well appointed kitchen. Fire place and pit were a bonus
Beautiful, spotless and seamless vacation in Baxter's Harbour
We had a perfect two day two night stay. The home is spotlessly clean and stocked with everything you need (kitchen utensils, pots, pans, bathroom essentials, lots of towels, blankets, linens, etc.). We enjoyed grilling out on the BBQ, exploring the waterfalls, and watching the spectacular tides on the Bay of Fundy. Barb was the perfect host, so responsive and accommodating. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area!
This property was an absolute delight to stay in. The views nearby are spectacular and it’s the perfect base camp to travel to other nearby locales. The owner was very communicative and helpful. We will definitely stay here again for future trips!
Loved our stay in Baxters Harbour. Everything was as described and the owner was available to answer any questions. Took some long drives and was so nice to come back and relax in the evening. Enjoyed our stay very much.
Crows nest met all our needs. We walked to the Baxter harbour waterfall and spent time at the Nordic spa, only 5 minutes away. Weather was warm and sunny and we enjoyed some patio time overlooking the Bay of Fundy.
This lovely home is beautifully decorated and well equipped. Steps away from Baxters Falls and short drive from rocky beach. Perfect for exploring the tides.
From booking, through to check in and check out, this was a dreamy rental experience!
The owner was friendly and communicative. The property was clean and had everything we needed to make it feel like home away from home. The location was so relaxing and beautiful. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to enjoy the Valley.
The house has everything you might need. Very nicely decorated and comfortable, yes even the beds which is important to us. It is rural. Still we explored the area and found lots to see and do. We enjoyed every minute and would definitely go back.
My mom, daughter and I loved this accommodation. Recently renovated with all you need. Barb was amazing and friendly, answering all our questions. Place was well prepared and clean. Was sad to leave but will be back!
What a great getaway from everything! We spent 3 relaxing nights getting reacquainted as siblings who rarely see each other. The house was even better than we imagined. Great water views, cute decor in every room and local soaps/hand creams was such a lovely touch. Barb was an excellent host and quickly responded to our questions
I traveled with a group of girlfriends to stay. Theres a beautiful waterfall directly across the street and a nee spa 5 minites away. The space was lovely and we had a wonderful time! The host is super easy to communicate with and had wonderful suggestions. 10/10
First let me start with Barb is an amazing host. Everything was perfect from the beginning. Barb was easy to communicate with, the house was beautiful and the spot couldn’t be more perfect. The views were beautiful, and the house was perfect from the decor to kitchen/bathroom essentials. Access to Baxter Falls is steps away from the house, towns close by. You could ask for anything more! I would highly recommend Barb and her rental to anyone travel to Nova Scotia. I would definitely book with her again. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

I highly recommend a stay here! My husband, my teenage girls and I all thought our stay at this house was easily the highlight of our tour around Nova Scotia. The host is clearly a reader as there are cozy nooks with perfect pillows and blankets scattered around the house. A cool breeze blows in off the water and the stress just melts away. I walked the few minute walk down to the coast 5 times in two days and the changing tides and weather kept the experience completely captivating. The bay and Cape Split can be seen from the house when the sky is clear. Just gorgeous!
We spent three nights at the Crow's Nest at Baxter Harbour and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and well-equipped and the beds were very comfortable. The house is very nicely decorated and a comfortable place to hang out. Communication was great throughout the process. The views of the Bay of Fundy were great. If you stay at the house, you should make it a point of walking down to the Falls at both high and low tide to get a sense of how much the tides rise and fall. The road to the falls is right in front of the house. I highly recommend the house without any reservations!
Perfect Getaway at The Crow’s Nest in Baxter’s Harbour!
We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Crow's Nest in Baxter’s Harbour, and it was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views. The house itself is a perfect blend of comfort and charm, with plenty of space for our group to relax and unwind.
Barb was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. She provided detailed instructions on how to make the most of the property and surrounding area and was always quick to respond to any questions we had.
Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat to relax and recharge or an active outdoor adventure, The Crow’s Nest in Baxter Harbour is the perfect choice. We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already planning our next visit! Highly recommend!
We stayed three nights in this lovely home. We chose it for its view of the water and proximity to other things we wanted to do. It was very clean and comfortable and well-equipped. The owner was very communicative and ready to help. While there, we visited a neighboring winery and brewery and visited Wolfville, the Grand Pre National Historical Site and many unforgettable outlooks and beaches. If we had stayed longer, we would have like to have a television in the living room, but the lack of one did not negatively impact our stay. All in all, a great experience. Thank you!
My wife and I, together with our son, daughter-in-law and their two children (toddler and newborn) thoroughly enjoyed a long weekend at the Crow's Nest (April 11 to 14). Barb (the host) replied promptly to all queries and went out of her way to ask about any special requests. The home was spotlessly clean and the kitchen extremely well provisioned. Clear instructions on the house were left. The second floor desk space was much appreciated by our son who had to attend to some work. When she found some items inadvertently left behind, Barb kindly offered to drop them off at our son's home nearby and very promptly did so. There was lots of outdoor space to play with our grandson and we all enjoyed exploring Baxter's Harbour Falls and the community park at Centreville. Many thanks!
Barb's house was perfect for our 3 night stay. The house was roomy and comfortable enough for a much longer stay. It had all modern conveniences and was tastefully decorated.
Barb's listing and photos on vrbo were accurate.
Roomy and functional kitchen, with a few staples like oil, vinegar and spices. Gas bbq in yard for grilling, which we used. Barb provided ground coffee for the drip coffee maker. Barb responded promptly to queries.
There are 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds and quality linens. The main floor BR had regular windows with good window coverings and 2 transom windows without window coverings, which let in a little morning light.
The 2nd floor BR had great Fundy views.
The main floor bath had a huge comfortable shower. The 2nd floor ensuite half bath was comfortable and functional.
The living room had no TV, which we preferred. The upper BR has a Smart tv which worked well and we used once to stream a show.
Note, this location is a 30 min drive from Wolfville so requires a vehicle. But that also ensured a peaceful location overlooking Fundy. And the Wi-Fi worked well, given the rural location.
We would highly recommend Barb's house and would stay there again if we were back in the area.
Fantastic experience at this lovely property! The house was very clean and super comfortable and had a well stocked kitchen. The surroundings were quiet and we loved seeing the water while enjoying the decks. The rocky beach just down the road is a beautiful spot at low tide. If we come back to the Annapolis Valley we would absolutely want to stay here again.
What an amazing place, and host.Ideally situated if you want to be away from it all, but still close to most things. Quite a number of wineries close by (the Church St winery was our favourite) and the Bay of Fundy is at your doorstep.Barb was extremely responsive and pleasant to all our questions. Check the instructions on the fridge, all we needed was there, but we bugged Barb instead (sorry Barb).I would definitely go back again, the beds were extremely comfortable so we enjoyed some good sleep too.
