A very relaxing home stay, in beautiful setting with magical sunsets. Open verandah with spa bath, and the Pygmy goats a great hit. We’d love to return another time, hopefully with other family members.
Simply one of the best properties we have had the pleasure of staying at. Excellent hosts that went above and beyond, communication was seamless!
This is a gem of a property, extremly clean and very comfortable!
Highly remcommend a stay here, you will not be left disappointed but wishing you could only stay longer.
The views are spectacular, the thought and detail that has gone into this property really shines through.

We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. Ed and Vickie were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Perfect for family staycation during winter while staying cozy in the fireplace. Great for kids as they have farm and lots of animals to see. We love how Vickie and Ed greeted us and accomodated extra people, we felt like we are family! Thanks so much for sharing your property to us and the inpiring stories about how the vision of your farm begun.
We had a beautiful 2 night stay at this property. The views are stunning and the cottage itself was well appointed and very well maintained. The owners were friendly and readily available with the check in/check out process very smooth. I would highly recommend a stay here and would love to return :)
What an amazing location. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, they showed us around and we were able to play and feed the baby goats. The scenery was absolutely amazing with views right across the valley and hills. We saw Kangaroos, native birds, goats, Alpacas and even an echidna taking a stroll. The house had everything we needed from heating to amenities to entertainment for a young family. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful getaway in aussie bush/farm near the ski slopes.
What a beautiful little tucked away paradise. Perfect little paradise. The owners were welcoming and friendly. The property was better than the photos and child friendly and the entire experience was magical! Will definitely be visiting again!
Our stay at Stone Creek Cottage was perfect. The property is beautiful, the cottage comfortable and well-appointed, the sunsets spectacular and as an added bonus, the goats are a delight! Vickie and Ed were helpful and very accommodating hosts. We loved our stay.

Beautiful property in an amazing location
We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed every element of our stay. The cottage is beautifully designed and appointed with multiple outdoor sitting and eating spaces - all lovely. Brilliant views and lovely garden surrounds. Our hosts were really helpful, generous and friendly. Definitely intend to return.
What a beautiful weekend we had at this lovely property. The property had everything we needed, it was immaculate and it has view that is nothing short of amazing. The beds are very comfortable and the goats are just adorable. My girlfriends and I would definitely stay here again!
Very comfortable and welcoming. Details in the cottage were appreciated. Owners went out of their way to make sure the kids enjoyed the goats. Beautiful spot. Would recommend to others.
Spent a few nights here after cycling the Great Victorian Rail Trail. Peaceful and relaxing. Wonderful views. Very comfortable. Perfect for one or two couples. Will be back.
We could not fault our stay at View to a Hill. Vickie was the perfect host and made us feel very welcome. The whole house was immaculate and had everything we needed. The whole family loved feeding the animals and watching the beautiful sunsets.

Having seen the picturesque photo of the cottage, it immediately drew me to book the cottage, the place and hosts did not let us down, what a brilliant accomodation for my wife and adult child and teen child to stay, the place is very well set up and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again, thanks Vickie and Ed
The family and I had a fantastic time. even on the days that the weather didn't play ball, we had a cozy time with the fireplace while playing board games and watching the lovely scenery.
Vicky and Ed were so obliging, giving us an in-depth tour with the friendly animals. My daughters loved the goats and Alpacas, which we pretended were Lamas.
I can't wait for our return visit later in the year.
Five Stars!!!

My wife and I decided to spend our 10 year anniversary staying at the Stone Creek Cottage and it was an amazing experience.
Both Vickie and Ed are amazing people and such hospitable hosts.
The cottage was so lovely and had everything you needed with Vickie still checking in on us to make sure. As well as giving us plenty of recommendations of things to do and see in this lovely part of the world.
Scenic views, cozy cottage with two amazing fire places during the cold weather and plenty of animal friends.
The location is 15-20 minutes from town and is easily accessible.
Cannot recommend this place enough.
Thank you Vickie and Ed for making it such a lovely experience!

This is a beautiful and very clean stone cottage in an absolutely stunning location. There were 3 of us, using 2 bedrooms, and we were very comfortable. It had all the facilities we could want, including a nice wood heater (which we used because we had a couple of chilly nights).
Highlights were:
* Big range of outdoor seating locations and options
* Very clean, new BBQ
* Stunning views
* Beautiful gardens
* Watching baby goat antics from the balcony
Vickie and Ed were very welcoming and friendly hosts, and have done a great job in turning this into a wonderful place to spend a few days. If you want to be within walking distance of cafes and shops then this is not for you, but if you'd love to get away and enjoy some comfortable peace and quiet while being blown away by high country views we can absolutely recommend Stone Creek Cottage at View to a Hill.
We had a fantastic time here and arrived a few days after several baby goats had been born. We were able to hold them, feed them and watch them from our accommodation. The hosts were very generous with their time and so helpful. The property is unique and only 20 mins from Mansfield. Cottage was very cosy and comfortable.
We really enjoyed our stay at Vickie & Ed's cottage. The view was spectacular and the home was well equipped for our family of 4. Our daughter's loved exploring the property and helping Ed to feed the pygmy goats. A short drive into town or a great base for skiing Mt Buller like us. The cottage fire place was perfect for those chilly nights. Thanks for a wonderful winter getaway!
