"More a self catering flat than an hotel however We were happy with it. It is in the suburbs of St Helens a distance from the town centre. St Helens Junction train station is about 5 mins walk, and a good little cafe for breakfast less than 2 mins walk. The area was quiet at night and there are a couple of local shops equally close for such things as milk for drinks.We used it as a base to explore the area hence we only used the kettle and the wifi. Would be happy to use again."

The hot tub and swimming pool were excellent additions and really enhanced the stay. The amenities are modern overall; however, the TV and WiFi were disappointing. "Perfect overnight stay for an early flight. We were only there 5 hours but the staff at check-in/out were excellent! Warm, friendly and professional. The bed was comfy and the shower was good. As we were leaving very early we grabbed some of the breakfast to go which was out for that purpose. This was a great choice of lovely fresh items, everything you might need and was included in the price. Overall very happy with our stay and would use again."

"The carpark was very busy over the weekend and, after a long day out, we were forced to park as far away from the hotel as was possible. Weddings and the attraction of the spa probably accounted for this. The food was more than average except for the breakfast which was excellent. The staff, to my knowledge without exception, were very welcoming and noticeably hard working. The room was slightly more spacious than average with spotless facilities and a comfy bed (single). So, for the most part this was a great place to say for four nights. However, if you're averse to dogs, despite those we encountered being well behaved and quiet, this wouldn't be the best place for you."
