Lovely weekend in combe lodge
Beautiful lodge very quiet and had everything we needed. There was a few little things that need updating. The wardrobe would not stay on the rail my husband had to fix it .we did report it so hopefully will now be OK. The hot tub was great and the view over the pond was lovely. Really enjoyed our stay .

Another great stay at Kentisbury Grange lidges
This is the second time we have stayed in one of these beautiful lodges and this time did not disappoint. The location is stunning and the lodges are very clean, comfortable and have everything you need. The hot tub is great to come back to after a day out to chill out and they are regularly maintained. There is a lovely restaurant and bar onside. We thoroughly recommend these lodges and will definitely return.

Great location, but dated lodges
Staff were friendly and courteous and the grounds and general location are lovely. The lodges are tired and dated and could benefit from a refurbishment. Lodges are Reasonably well equipped, but short on cutlery and no decent sized glassware.

Tired Lodge
The setting of the Lodge was superb as were the staff at Kentisbury Grange, however, the lodge itself was tired and hadn't been cleaned very well. Hand prints on the mirror and the fire was missing. We found cheesy wotsits behind the speakers (well the dog did) and that showed it hadn't been cleaned to a proper standard for our arrival. There was a smashed window in the main bedroom. The door latch was broken as was the door frame into the bathroom. No welcome pack on arrival as stated when we booked and we had to ask for a tea towel & washing up sponge. When I told the team that the latch on the bedroom door was broken they were very quick to fix it. I personally wouldn't come here again.

Beautiful setting but cleanliness and maintenance very poor
Call reception on arrival as dirty towel in washing machine.
Blood on bed sheets.
Valances dirty and stained.
Maintenance poor. There has been a leak and this was not redecorated.
Door handles loose
Doors peeling and lock hanging off.
The setting is beautiful, the restaurant is super, the location is great.
This was our second stay but disappointed with lodge this time.

Major issues
We found several issues with housekeeping, a few, one major and disgusting, in my bathroom. We contacted management with our concerns. A member of staff came to the lodge to investigate.
From that moment we felt confident and reassured the problems were relevant and unacceptable by the management.
As you know, we were issued a full refund.
Once the issues had been rectified we were able to relax and enjoy the rest of our holiday.
For me personally, the setting, location and general outlook is beautiful and well maintained.
The bed linen was crisp and clean.
Just a suggestion, the crockery and glasses are in the high cabinets.
I'm short and found them difficult to reach. Infact, a couple of items fell out and broke as I was reaching for them.
We found a disposable coffee cup with a lid on in the fridge, which we had to wipe down before use. It had milk in ,I think, but not sure so we threw it away. Really shabby presentation if it was milk left for us.
We were staying for a week so a cleaning product for the kitchen would have been nice.
But, I personally, would happily return for another stay, it was peaceful and quiet.
Thank you
Kind regards
Jayne Nooranvary

Very Beautiful Setting And Very Peasant
We booked the lodge because we needed a home from home setting as we took a disabled parent with us and we needed the space which was on offer.
We couldn’t have asked for more. If there was any negatives these were minor apart from potentially looking into installing a hoist to enable those people who cannot step up easily to enter the hot tub.
My parent would have loved to have been able to get in and relax. Instead they had to watch others enjoy themselves instead.
