"We stayed in a standard room - King bed for 7 nights while staying in Barbados for the Australia V West Indies test cricket. We loved our accommodation. Our room was on the second floor overlooking one of the pools plus we had beach views. It was modern and clean. The hotel arranged a shuttle for all guests going to and from the cricket each day. This was fabulous! Earl and Dave (our drivers) were both legends. The shuttle cost 20 BBD pp. I loved that we had an actual laundry - not an expensive laundry service - (but instead a shared washing machine and dryer on our floor) that we could use without payment. We used it several times - there's a clothes rack in the room for drying clothes on your balcony. The kitchenette was well equipped - a decent sized fridge and freezer (which was great for freezing waters for each day at the cricket), toaster, kettle, coffee machine (no instructions for how to work it though) crockery and glassware. The room was spacious, and the balcony was perfect after a long hot day at the cricket. Local buses (we only used the yellow ones) are literally at your doorstep for only $3.50 BBD pp in each direction (no matter where you get off). We caught them regularly to check out Bridgetown, Holetown...A taxi from the airport to the hotel will cost around $70USD from memory - what I loved was the fixed pricing chart at the airport. The hotel has an awesome bar on site and a little store. Although, for groceries just take a local bus to the supermarket. "

"If you are trying to decide between the Marriott properties- this is definitely the best (more to open soon though). The beach is beautiful and there is great snorkeling if you follow the rope on the left side over the reef. We stayed in a split ocean view - incredible view. The adults pool is beautifully landscaped and feels very special (even had monkey activity). The staff is the best part of the stay - they genuinely want your stay to be top notch- shout out to Ether, Astrid, Tamisha and Raquel…book this hotel now - you will not regret it!"

A special mention goes to Pat for the incredible omelets and conversation each morning, and to Kwesi for always making sure we had everything we needed by the pool. "Fabulous! Small boutique hotel feeling throughout the property and efficient, friendly service. Everywhere is clean and well maintained. Our room was bright and fresh. Plenty of storage. The food is excellent! Huge range of delicious food that exceeded our expectations. The service from all the ladies waiting on tables was excellent. We felt their service was personal and professional. Drinks service was generous and plentiful with international brands. Poolside service was helpful, pleasant and frequent. The pool area was small but there were always sun-beds available and we helped ourselves to pool towels throughout the day whenever we needed fresh ones. We loved the live music in the evening during dinner and the friendly vibe from the mainly British and English speaking guests at the bar in the evening was a bonus! We enjoyed the complimentary boat shuttle to the other hotels in the group. Just took the boat for the ride and enjoyed seeing the coast line. The all-inclusive package felt premium and there weren’t any areas that we felt could be improved upon. Oh! Would have liked a full length mirror in the bedroom! "

"The property was fantastic very spacious plenty of room to move about, the property had everything we needed it was very clean when we arrived our host was already waiting for us and explained everything thoroughly. . The location was just right 3 minutes walk to Paynes Bay west coast. The Supermarket, Petrol station and other shops were just a driving distance. We could freely move around to different beaches beacuse of our location "

"Couldn’t be closer to the beach! Hosts very helpful and accommodating! Only downside was finding the apartment initially as the sign was missing. The real seller was the included beach beds they set up for us every day.Came home and immediately booked to return next year.. "
