Room had a musty smell but once a/c ran it improved. Carpet was frayed by bathroom, chair had a holes in fabric as did room darkening curtains. Staff were very pleasant. Conveniently close to Biltmore Estate which was the selling point when I booked.

Really solid stay! It’s affordable, nothing fancy but clean and has what you need. Location is 10/10 short drive aways from everything. Late check in accommodated, and easy parking. Not much a view on the first floor but still a decent balcony and view. Also worth mentioning the free continental breakfast, it’s a good breakfast that’s included with stay, I recommend taking advantage of it. Would stay again!

We were excited to stay here and visit Bar Harbor. The location is second to none - excellent view and a very enjoyable area. The things that weren't as enjoyable - the elevator was in a doorless area and it was super cold. There is only one elevator so we had to wait for it each time (we were on the 4th floor). Cookies - my initial excitement over supposedly homemade cookies was quelled because they were very hard - overcooked, you might say. I thought this was a fluke, but the next night? They were the same - hard, overcooked, burned. Maybe someone will read this and take them out of the oven a little earlier (smile). The morning breakfast was adequate. Thank-you.

Disappointing for the price. Sink didn’t drain well, A/C didn’t work well enough to cook the room down past 72. No body wash in the shower, conditioner had something else in the dispenser, was not conditioner. Hand rail for exterior steps leading down from the second floor pull off the main support. Lucky is was at the bottom since we lost our footing.

Best stay we had in Maine
My husband and I really enjoyed this motel, the rooms were really well decorated and comfortable. Not the run of the mill, very attractive and set up very conveniently, the rates were reasonable and the staff was super friendly and very helpful with their suggestions for our vacation. We are so happy we found this motel. Conveniently situated near several lighthouses, and Canada.

Hotel is in good location. Just 5 a minute drive from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Every room offers amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean and scenery. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. They only clean your room once you check out. The kitchen had everything to cook. Breakfast was good. The only downside was the hotel has weak wifi connection.

Ocean view is indeed facing East, but we couldn’t see the sunrise because it’s blocked by tall trees. I paid a bit more to book a third floor room hoping to see the sunrise, unfortunately it didn’t work that way. The ocean view is still beautiful nevertheless. The breakfast is good. The room is clean. The location is convenient.

Check out this Bar Harbor gem that’s just minutes from Acadia NP. Room was nicely furnished, clean and quiet. Loved the breakfast and afternoon cookies!

Had a great time at the Atlantic Eyrie Lodge! The room was spacious and clean and had a nice view of the ocean. They had freshly baked cookies every afternoon. The breakfast was fantastic! Hot options such as eggs, bacon or sausage, hash browns/potatoes, and delicious, freshly baked pumpkin muffins! The lodge was less than a mile away from the downtown area with many shopping and eating options. It was also very close to Acadia National Park. Would definitely stay there again!

This was a fine stay for our visit to Acadia. We really loved the location and reasonable price point. The building is pretty old but it’s clean and does the job. The Wi-Fi was very slow and disconnected regularly. A no-frills place for you to dock yourself while exploring the area.

Highly recommend! We stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Acadia NP. The rooms are clean and large. We had decent views from our balcony. The property is less than 10 minutes from the entrance of Acadia NP and Bar Harbor downtown. We even walked to Bar Harbor downtown from the property one night - the sidewalks are intermittent but it took us about 17 minutes. The absolute best part - the free breakfast! Served from 7-10, it is hearty and pretty good, a great way to start your day at the park. My only wish is that it was served earlier, even 6:30, so we could have reached the park earlier.
