"We felt like we were in a winter wonderland! This cabin was a perfect home base for our ski trip at Sugar Mountain. We felt right at home returning to this warm, cozy, hygge cabin after a day on the slopes. The cabin was well appointed and comfortable and the back yard was a fun place to safely play with our pup. The view of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the back porch was unbelievable and we enjoyed both sunrise and sunset views during our stay! "

"Host is super supportive and touched based with us before and during our stay. The house has amazing views of the surrounding mountains and is right on the side of the ski slope, allowing you to sit and watch the skiers to go by or ski right out the door. House is warm and cozy with gas fireplace and all the amenities you need. I look forward to coming back in the summer months to see what else the area has to offer."

"What a slice of heaven nestled in Banner Elk! From the impeccable decor, the history, the treat basket, and the little farm with animals- these owners have thought of everything. We even got a personal visit to make sure we were prepared for inclement weather. One of the best places we have ever stayed. Highly recommend. We will be back!"
