great villa
We had a wonderful stay at this very nice villa. Great location in the north of the Island with lovely welcoming staff. The driver was also great and very helpful for us to get out and about to see more of the island.

A beautiful local stay
What a fantastic stay we had in Bali. Everyone at the house were lovely and kind, it was hard to leave. Food was incredible, yard immaculate and transportation was fantastic. Thank you so much. One note location is about 3 hours driving from the airport but well worth the stay.

Fantastic facility
The villa and the staff were great. Always accommodating and made sure we had whatever we needed. There was lots of room inside and out. The location is a little isolated, but that’s what we were looking for. Would stay here again for sure.

Fantastic time in Villa Cantik
We had a fantastic time in the Villa, the house is nice and secluded, the pool is great but what makes this a great Villa is the fabulous staff working there! They are polite, helpful, available and amazing cooks! Consider doing a big purchase on arrival to avoid the hassle of going to the market. There are some really nice day tours and activities available and the staff will be happy to help you book it. Angelike organized the transfer in and out and everything was very smooth.

The villa was great especially the pool. The highlight was the fabulous house staff. They went over and above to ensure our stay was great. Especially Kedak who helped immensely when our youngest fell sick. She was available in the middle of the night and called a doctor and then stayed on the night after to ensure she was able to see the doctor and help with our son. The ladies cooked breakfast and dinner each day and the meals were delicious! They consulted with us about the menu and did the shopping & the value for money was fantastic. There were a few things we will give feedback on separately such as a requirement for more fans, maybe some fly screens and a larger or additional fridge for big families. A must stay in Bali!
Our stay at Villa Cantik exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived at the airport, we felt completely looked after. We were able to arrange transportation from the airport to the Villa in advance and that made everything easy - even with a tiny hiccup, the property manager resolved it within minutes. They were so apologetic, but honestly, it was about a 5 minute delay, which allowed to change quickly before the drive. We arrived at the villa around 8:30PM and staff was there to greet us, look after our bags, give a quick tour, then served one of the best meals we’ve ever had. You’ll see other reviews that comment on how cook the cooking is in the villa…they are all true! My wife and I were there for our anniversary and ready to relax, which we did. We spent hours by the pool and on the beach, but also enjoyed tours arranged by the staff and supported by the villa driver. We did not plan anything in advance, the staff was able to help us with our trips arranged the day before. On that, highly recommend the snorkeling, dolphin tour (which is worth it for the sunrise alone), and Aling-Aling waterfalls. We traveled to Ubud from Villa Cantik, again, transportation was arranged and seamless. The driver was kind enough to make stops along the way at sites of interest. The house and grounds are meticulously kept in a very quiet area. The evenings are especially quiet. We can’t thank the staff enough for making this stay so memorable. This is a must stay!

Perfect oasis
We chose this villa to host a small wedding ceremony and reception and it was the absolute perfect space. The staff really go above and beyond they were so sweet and really made the wedding so much better, they even brought us flowers on our special day! The food they prepared was always delicious, the villa on its own is stunning but the staff make it feel like home. The villa itself is gorgeous with clean spacious rooms and a large outdoor area and pool where we spent most of our time. We really enjoyed staying in the smaller separate bungalow that faces the ocean, and waking up to the sound of the waves. We are counting down the days until we can come back to this unforgettable place!

Just book here …it’s heaven
From the moment we arrived we were all blown away that the villa was exactly as depicted in the pictures. The staff were amazing. Kadek is an excellent chef and nothing was an issue. Dinner every night was superb. The villa is so comfortable and none of us wanted to leave. The pool was gorgeous. The grounds taken care of by Edi were outstanding. 5 stars. Our group of six enjoyed every second of our stay. Thank you for making my 70th birthday retreat a memorable one. I will be back for sure.

5 star Staff -wonderful stay
Our stay at Villa Cantik was wonderful! The home is as advertised spacious with lovely pool area and the staff 5 star. kadek, Novi and Eddie go above and beyond to ensure you have a wonderful time. Kadek and Novi’s cooking is better than restaurants. The manager Ketut was quick to answer any questions also. The beach out the back is volcanic so black with a little rubbish. We didn’t swim off the beach it looked a little murky but the pool area was wonderful so it didn’t hinder our stay. We had a great driver who took us to waterfalls, temples, rice fields, hot springs and general sightseeing around area. I would definitely book this home again.

Thank you Kadek, Novi and Edi for taking such good care of us. The food was amazing! The massages, yoga and the facials were lovely. The view and pool are fantastic and we would recommend staying at Villa Cantik specifically for the staff. They made our stay and kept everything tidy and clean although the upkeep of the house could really use some attention from the owner.

Beautiful villa
The villa is beautiful and the staff are very friendly and skilled in the kitchen. All of the food we were cooked was delicious! We had massages by the sea and saw hundreds of dolphins on a boat trip (picked us up on the beach outside the villa at 6am and was less than £10pp). Organising a driver for a day trip was really easy and very cheap. Things to bear in mind are the internal communal rooms and toilets don't have ceilings so the bugs and gekos can get in although its kept very clean so not much of an issue, bedrooms are fine and have aircon. There are persistent locals trying to sell over the wall which we tried to support but it did get abit annoying as ruins the peace and tranquility of the place abit. All in all its a fabulous place and the staff will go out of their way to help you and ensure you have what you need ❤️

What a gem!
You get exactly what the property description says, and amazing property with fabulous people on location to make your holiday a sensational experience. We were a group of 10 (3 families with kids) and our first trip to the north of Bali and everyone loved the experience. After a pick-up at the airport our group was transported across Bali by the great drivers organised by the villa. It was a 3 hour trip, but at the end of the trip we were welcomed into a picture perfect villa by our amazing hosts. We settled in to our rooms (all fabulous) and then were provided with a lovely dinner prepared by the team that support your stay at the villa. This great experience was constantly back-up throughout the trip. Each evening we would sit down with the team and discuss plans for the next day (what we wanted for breakfast, did we need drivers, were we staying in for dinner). The team would organise everything for us from getting drivers, to making suggestions as to where we should visit on day trips. We did have a number of meals in Lovina but many nights we ate at the villa. The villa staff produced sensational meals which were largely better than what we were getting in many of the restaurants. The pool was fabulous and the kids spent most of their days playing in and around the pool. This meant it was a relaxing time for the parents too! The drivers that work with the villa were great and we hired them almost daily for day trips, going to restaurants etc. You will need the drivers regularly as points of interest are widely distributed and nothing is really within walking distance. A few practical points. The wifi was excellent, filtered water was always available which saved buying heaps of bottled water, the beds were comfortable, and yes they even did your washing for you! We could not have been happier with our stay! The team working at the villa were so friendly and accommodating and the villa was everything it was promoted as in the descriptions. A big 5 stars from us.

A wonderful experience
We had the most wonderful 10 day stay at Villa Cantik for Christmas 2022. Nothing ran to schedule with our flights, but despite that, our driver Putu was there waiting for the 5 of us, ready to take us to Paradise. And it was just that. From the moment we stepped through the gates, we were made to feel extremely welcomed, and that continued for the entire 10 days. Our cook/housekeeping duo Kadek and Novi were delightful, and cooked us some amazing food - some of the highlights were Lele (catfish), BBQ local reef fish and my favourite, BBQ lobster. Crepes, fruit and fresh juice each morning was a bonus. We also ate at some local restaurants as well as some further afield when dat tripping with Putu. Our highlight trips were Snorkelling at Manganjan Island and dolphin hunting in a boat right off the beach in front of the villa. All of our activities were coordinated by the Villa manager Ketut, who was incredibly helpful, and when two of our party were sick, arranged for a doctor to visit. All in all we had a fabulous time, and are already talking about returning soon.

Absolutely wonderful
Our stay at Villa Cantik was nothing short of wonderful. The Villas location on the island (near Lovina) was great! Far away from the hustle and bustle of the southern side of the island. The ocean was extremely calm, and you could walk out into the water nearly 100 meters and still be standing. Best of all we're the staff. The staff were truly amazing and are what made our stay amazing!

Fantastic!
What a fantastic villa! The staff (Kadek, Nofi, and Edi) were outstanding! They took care of our every need and kept the property immaculate inside and out. They are great cooks as well. We enjoyed most of our meals at the villa. The manager Ketut was very responsive and helpful as well. We highly recommend this villa and hope one day we can return.

A fantastic experience
When I first read the description of Villa Cantik, I was excited for our stay, but also wondered if it was too good to be true. Well, after 7 days at the Villa in early July 2022, I am blown away by the house, the amenities and the overall experience. It is exactly as described. The rooms are gorgeous, the stand-alone bungalow entranced my son and his girlfriend, the blue skies, sunsets and sunrises were all beautiful. I was especially impressed with the staff, who took care of most of our meals, and arranged any excursions that we wanted (dolphin watching, snorkeling, waterfalls, etc), though much of the time we just played by the pool. A peak experience was having a yoga instructor come to the villa and lead a class by the pool for 7 of the 9 in our party. Really, a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Great place to relax
The villa is beautiful and the staff are great They were very helpful in getting us bikes, drivers and finding the few restaurants that are still open during COVID. Hopefully, more will be open soon. They were also excellent cooks so it didn't matter too much that things weren't open.

Wow, just wow!
What can i say. Firstly the pictures do not do the place justice! The villa was massive! The dwellings, gardens and pool were immaculately kept and maintained throughout our stay. My wife and i stayed in the new beach house so even though it was a family holiday, it gave us a sense of being alone and having some escape from everyone else. Also had amazing views of the sunrise each morning, en suite too so totally like a lil haven! The beach right in front of the villa was actually the best stretch of beach in the area it seemed and hardly any rocks or rubbish. Very child friendly. The sea itself is quite calm in Lovina and so was very safe for kids and non swimmers and you can wade out quite far into the surf. The staff were amazing. So accommodating and welcoming. They were not intrusive at all and cooked some amazing food. Balinese food as well as western food was all top notch! They also kept the property cleaned and would do anything they could to make your stay as peaceful and stressless as possible. Our last full day was our wedding anniversary and they organised a surprise breakfast with decorations and in the afternoon organised a traditional balinese dance act in the villa itself. Definately an anniversary to remember. The driver was also on hand whenever you needed,sometimes spending very long days out with us as we explored the island. Had some great suggestions too! All in all, the staff were amazing, we asked them to join us for meal and drinks on our last night there. Location wise, a lil far to walk to town but the driver was more than happy to take you whenever you needed. But we wanted a bit of seclusion rather than being right in town, so for us was perfect. Basically we loved everything about the villa and would highly recommend to anyone thinking of hiring it. Privacy, luxury, great food and service! We didnt want to leave and will definitely come back at some point in the future. You will not be disappointed!

Wonderful stay
Our family (5 people) had an incredible stay at Villa Cantik during our 13 nights. The villa is as described and the pool is amazing. The rooms are all spacious and have air conditioning. One point to note about the room which is directly on the beach: the sound of the waves can be quite loud if you're a light sleeper. Many thanks to Kadek and Novi for their availability, advice and kindness. The food at the villa is delicious (and much better than at the restaurant). Thanks also to Eddie for his help and for the coconuts! The system is quite simple: each evening you decide with Kadek the next day's menu, and she also estimates how much it should cost. The next day, Kadek gives you the bill and you either pay extra or she gives you money back. The meals are all very affordable. We had three drivers during our stay. They were all very professional and accommodating. They will take you on excursions or to the local supermarket/money changer office. The fare varies according to time/distance. We will definitely come back to stay again at the Villa Cantik !!!
