"We enjoyed the place so much we extended our stay. Initially the parking dilemma made us sceptical because it was quite a distance from the accommodation and required parking costs and porterage costs that we weren't told about. 8/10 Good
"Behind the street door s a great Riad, would recommend. The rooms are big and comfortable and have a kettle. . The hotel is great with a lovely rooftop terrace which overlooks the water. Breakfast is good and staff are friendly and helpful. Only thing of note is that it has no air conditioning but Essaourira is on the coast and cooler so Oct stay this wasn’t an issue."

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Bani Antar?
The best time to go to Bani Antar is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) months.

During these periods, the weather is pleasantly warm and sunny, with average temperatures ranging from 20°C to 28°C. This makes it ideal for exploring the desert landscapes and engaging in outdoor activities without the intense heat of summer or the cooler temperatures of winter. The clear skies also offer excellent visibility for stargazing.

Couples looking for a romantic and comfortable escape will find these months particularly appealing. The mild weather allows for leisurely camel treks, private desert dinners under the stars, and relaxed evenings by a campfire. It's also a great time for photography, with softer light and fewer extreme conditions.

Families travelling with children will also appreciate the moderate temperatures, which are much more comfortable for activities like quad biking, sandboarding, and visiting local villages.
