I was there during Songkran. Perfect location if you want to celebrate in Khaosan road area. The pool is nice and a good escape from the craziness.

Overall great place to stay if you want to be in the action of the market. I would say it’s worth the extra 10$ fo get a deluxe room vs superior since it’s a little quieter at night, and their are more outlets

So it’s right on Khao San road. It’s loud until the sun comes up basically every night. Ear plugs weren’t enough for me. Other than that, everything was great. Decent gym. Within walking distance to a lot and plenty of public transport right at the hotel parked and ready to go somewhere else. It was clean and the ac worked well. The only bad thing was the noise but I risked it knowing it would probably be loud so that’s on me.

Considering it’s smack dab in the middle of one of the crazies walking streets in would It’s definitely not perfectly quiet. You can hear the road especially on the weekends, but it it wasn’t to the point that it affected my sleep. The staff was awesome and the pool is an absolute lifesaver, and feels like an oasis in the middle of KhaoSan Rd..

I've stayed a few times at the Buddy Lodge. The bathrooms were upgraded on this occasion. Despite being right in the middle of Khao San Road, inside the rooms it is quiet and the beds are comfortable.

Really enjoyed this property. The rooftop pool is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok although located right in the heart of Khoa San road. The rooms had a ton of old charm making for an excellent stay aside from the noise at night from the clubs on the Main Street.. overall wasn’t a major issue though would recommend!

Used to be a favourite but now far too noisy
I know a hotel on Khao San Road is going to be noisy (my husband and I have stayed at Buddy’s numerous times previously) however the noise level from their OWN nightclub was unacceptable. It went on till 3am with the bass vibrating off everything in the room. I doubt being on floors higher than 2 would have made any difference either. The rooms are nice enough if a little rough around the edges these days. Should also mention the friendly staff and the nice guy out front who helped with our bags. We’ll not be back to Buddy’s again unfortunately - end of an era for us.

I always stay at buddy Lodge when I'm in Bangkok because I always receive the same excellent service. The staff are all friendly and helpful and it's clean and comfortable and in an amazing location - and there's a lovely roof top pool.

Enigmatic lodgings. Don’t get caught by surprise.
Buddy Lodge is in a backpackers district and sits directly on the street where there are nightly markets and pub entertainment. That means very loud music until the wee hours of the morning. We loved our room for everything except the noise. The lodge is well positioned for exploring but request a room at the back of the lodge to dodge the noise. We were offered another room but we grinned and bared the situation. Great staff and a very delightful room sans doof music.

Hotel reception very difficult to find, at the end of a shopping arcade. Directions on site would be helpful. Pool area good plenty of loungers and umbrellas. Building very old but ok.Wide angle lens used for photos. bathroom very small

Solo travel trip
A great place to stay when in Bangkok. As I was solo travelling I wanted to be where all the action of Khao San Road was so this was perfect. Great location. The room itself was clean and spacious, with complimentary water being topped up every day. I would happily return when in Bangkok and recommend to friends

This hotel is in a great location and the rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. The staff is incredibly helpful and made everything so easy for us! My only complaint is that the walls are thin, so, for example you can hear when the phone rings several rooms away.

The location is really good. Literally it’s in Khao San. Also the swimming pool is really nice. The room is pretty older than the pictures. The shower is really weak and toilet doesn’t work well sometimes.

Good option if you want to stay at khao san road
Hotel is well located in the center of the khao san road. it very noisy at night, even when we got room on the 5th floor and it was in the back. the pool is great, big and very clean. The room was ok, not the biggest but good enough for 2 adults and a baby crib. This hotel is good option if you want to stay in the middle of the action.

Nice little hotel in the center of the action on khao san road. Rooms were nice although the bathroom could use some updating. The room was far enough off of the street that the noise from the road was not a factor. The rooftop pool was great after a day out. If I was staying on khao san again, I would stay at buddy lodge.
