Dusit Thani Hua Hin

10/10 Excellent

"I originally booked 3 nights...and extended to 6! This property is beyond fabulous. Beautiful rooms, comfy beds, big balconies, friendly staff, incredibly huge pool, private beach, multiple restaurants, spa, fitness facility....it was just perfect. The one thing I will say is that it is NOT located in the tourist area of Hua Hin. Cha Am is about a 12-15min car ride to the busy streets, malls, etc. Cost about 140 baht on Grab (just under 5 dollars) If you're looking for the busy tourist zone this hotel is not walking distance. What you get at the Dusit is a super chill vibe, less tourists, less kids...(unless you book a weekend) and a wonderful place to unplug from the world. I had no problem getting a car into Hua Hin for shopping and some bar hopping but was very happy to return to the Dusit each night. The Dusit Spa is a bit pricey for Thailand so I did book massages on the Main Street of Hua Hin for local pricing (250-500 baht per hour) Note-if you go into the BluPort mall for a massage you will pay hotel prices also. Overall a superb experience and I will stay at this property again."

"It was good hotel, Staff is very friendly and helpful. It is by the beach, unfortunate when we went, it was high tide so my son did not get chance to play on the beach or the sea but the hotel beach front got sand area with sun-bed. The hotel got kids club, they got few things for kids to do it was useful to have when you have kids. The hotel need a bit maintenance as the last 2 night of 11 night stayed , the room we stayed in for 9 night already the AirCon stopped working and we had to move twice but the hotel staff did speak to me that they got maintenance plan happening soon. All in all it was a good hotel, we had a good time there and definitely we will stay here again."

"We stayed in the room with a private jacuzzi and beach view. Great size room, bed was comfortable and staff tidied up room twice a day. Local sweets were gifted each evening. Like on a cruise ship! We also looked forward to the breakfast buffet. Selection was great. Loved the salad station, fresh pressed juice and local food options. Will stay here again in the future."

"Beautiful 5-star resort, Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa Hotel, was a great place for a vacation. Thoroughly enjoyed the well-appointed corner guest room with a gorgeous view, facing the beach. The property has five swimming pools, including an Adult Pool, where guests can enjoy an outdoor workout. The hotel also has a fully equipped gym, with several running machines, stair master, bicycles, ellipticals, weights, and other equipment. There is also a sauna and spa on the grounds. There are several restaurants and a large selection of delicious food for the breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hotel staff are top drawer, especially Namwan who prepared several cappuccinos and was very informative about the hotel and nearby attractions. Many thank to her and the rest of the hotel staff for the wonderful hospitality. The hotel is one of the best in Thailand and is highly recommended!"

"On arrival the staff were very attentive bringing cold towel drinks and cakes , showed to our room and explained where everything was , room was replenished two or three times a day as needed water , towels coffee and tea etc Pool area was clean and well serviced straight onto the beach from the pool area lovely clean sands and warm sea Breakfast was sensational excellent choice of food again staff were very good All in all an excellent hotel would highly recommend ."

"Hotel is in a good location with quite an imposing lobby area. It raises expectations which ultimately are not fully delivered. Bedrooms of good size with adequate en-suite. Pool is large therefore good….but very unimaginative in its setting. Breakfast area is pleasant and breakfast options neither the best or worst. The roof top bar seems permanently closed. And that’s the problem - it could offer more but it doesn’t. Felt like an empty mausoleum. Good value price though which makes it likely I will consider returning"
