"First time in Alsace, very impressed. The room is right in the centre of a beautiful town, lots of bars, restaurants on your doorstep. Lovely hike from the town up to St Ulrich Chateaux. Plenty of parking in nearby sidestreets overnight, but limited during the day. Wonderful breakfast, the lady who served us each day was very friendly and hospitable. A unique place to stay, we thoroughly enjoyed it and would happily stay again. "

"Overall, it was an excellent stay. The patron was very helpful but it would have been nice if he spoke just a tiny bit of anglais. We muddled through with my tiny bit of schoolboy french and many gestures. The kitchen/dining area was well equipped, it was a case of working everything out for myself. The communal lounge was pleasant enough but little used as the fire had a mind of it's own, it was only on once briefly during my 5 night stay, and the wi-fi didn't work in that area which was a...
