Beautiful Restored 19th Century Gothic Church

Beautiful Restored 19th Century Gothic Church

10/10 Excellent
"We were so excited that “the church” was available for our dates. The three beds and en suite upstairs were perfect for our three kids to have some space, and the downstairs bed was large and comfortable for two. We cooked multiple meals at the house, including a most excellent beef rib with meat from the Kilmacthomas butcher, but were also positioned for so many adventures around the home. We loved Kilmurrin Cove, the Mahon trails, and De La Poer Loop. We did horseback riding and the kids loved Dunmore Adventure. So much to do. We hope very much to return!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Viking Hotel in Waterford. The room was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, and the bed was really comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we had dinner in the restaurant which was very good. Breakfast was also excellent with plenty of choice. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! 👍"

Lawlors Hotel

Lawlors Hotel

8/10 Good
"It's an ancient hotel building with a maze of narrow halls and wonky flooring covered in thickly padded tartan carpet. The rooms were nice and roomy enough, but no a/c or fans, though the windows let in enough of an ocean breeze to keep us cool. Area pubs are great, as was the hotel bar. Everything is walkable but it's not a tourist town. People live there and the shops reflect that."
