"Loved the parador!! The room was extremely spacious and comfortable. Slept like a queen. It was wonderful after a long day of horseback riding nearby. Dinner was very nice. Service was excellent. "The farmhouse and grounds are absolutely beautiful with some of the best views you will ever see. The house was spotlessly clean and the kitchen very well equipped. However, we did miss a microwave but we soon learned to live without one!! The communication with our hosts was exemplary, they even offered to purchase fans for us if we required them (the house is so cool inside it wasn’t necessary). The outside space was lovely, covered in grape vines and lit with multi-coloured bulbs. The pool is beautiful and the surrounding grass smells of mint when you walk on it. Sun loungers look directly over the stunning valley.Parada de Sil is an 11 minute drive away where there are a few restaurants to choose from (1pm-4pm lunch & 8pm - 10pm roughly for dinner) - Candea was our favourite.The town of Ourense is an easy one hour drive away and we spent a night on the Atlantic Coast (2.5 hr drive).We had a very relaxing holiday in the most stunning location. Would definitely recommend visiting this relatively undiscovered part of Spain if you would like a complete change from hectic cities. STUNNING!"
