"We had an amazing stay at this VRBO home. The description was completely accurate, and the property was even more impressive in person. Everything was spotless, well‑kept, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. The host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience smooth and enjoyable.One of the highlights was the setting — we saw so much wildlife right around the property, which made the mornings and evenings feel extra special. At night, the stars were absolutely beautiful, with clear skies that made stargazing unforgettable. It added a peaceful, magical touch to our stay.We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and nature‑filled getaway with a truly wonderful host."

"I had a wonderful stay at Terlingua Ranch Retreat. It was perfect for me—very remote, peaceful, and completely tranquil. The stars at night were incredible, and the cabin gets lovely breezes with spectacular views in every direction. The unit was also very clean, and I had no issues during my stay.Not at all a concern for me , but the retreat is about 30 minutes from Terlingua and the Ghost Town, so it may feel a little far if you want to be close to everything. Load up on groceries in Alpine before heading down and you’re good to go! Place has gas cook top and gas grill outside. If you want privacy, beautiful scenery, and absolutely no noise or crowds, this place is perfect. I would definitely stay here again!"

"We enjoyed the remoteness of the property. Quiet and dark! 😃 house has everything you needed. We lost power most of one day. We endured bathing with a trickle of cold water and some bottled water. We had a great time and will gladly stay again on the next trip."
