"Blábjörg Resort is located in one of the most spectacular areas of Iceland, and it’s without question the best spot to see puffins — an unforgettable experience. Unfortunately, the hotel staff didn’t acknowledge this at all. They provided no guidance, no tips, and no mention of the puffin cliffs just minutes away.
Their focus seemed entirely on promoting the spa, which felt out of touch with what makes this region special.
The breakfast was good, and the hotel itself is fine, but the lack of local insight from the staff was a missed opportunity."
"A great place to stay in Seydisfjordur. My room was very clean and comfortable. There is a large kitchen which provides guests free coffee and use of cooking utensils for meal preparation. The staff was most helpful in suggesting a place to eat for the evening. Overall, I was very happy with my stay."
"Friendly and helpful staff. Good Breakfast. Hot tub in scenic setting. The room with private bath and mountain view. The location was a little bit remote off a dirt road, which was not well maintained, but very scenic drive to get in there. Make sure you arrive in daylight. This was one of our favourite accommodations on our Ring Road tour. Hoped to see the northern lights, but got too good a rest. :)"
"We were very confused as to which building was our hotel as it wasn't labeled. Fortunately, we saw the picture to confirm. You'll need to walk up several steps to get into the building. Our room was a first-floor corner room, and it was super spacious. We had a great view of the snow-covered mountains. The location is convenient to walk the entire town, including both grocery stores and the hikes to the waterfalls. All amenities were luxurious. We had a great night sleep here. What a fantastic little town and hotel!"
"Very spacious cottage with an equipped kitchen. Hosts were responsive. We stayed overnight during a bag storm and everything worked well including wifi. Shower pressure was very good too. Would recommend a deeper cleaning. "
"Convenient to restaurants and shops in town. "Filling Station" restaurant next door looked great in photos, but closed for family trip when we were there. Kitchenette available for guests. No host, but key code sent by email for lockbox. Large room."
