This was my favorite stay during my week long vacation in Iceland. The room was beautiful and large. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was top notch. The view from the balcony was lovely. I enjoyed having an unobstructed view of the water. Plus the puffins were only a ten minute drive away. The on site restaurant was delicious, we ate there both nights we stayed. Pizza was real good

My room was very comfortable and it came with an awesome view. Parking was very easy (it was just outsode), there was free wifi, and breakfast was included (it was a good spread actually). Everybody who worked there was very helpful. I would stay there again. Plus it is only an 8 minute drive to see puffins

LOVED THIS PLACE!!!!! The rooms, food, staff view everything was incredible. I wish we stayed longer than two nights. The spa is awesome and my best afternoon was hanging out there in the hot tubs having a glass of wine. I would drive here again just to stay here (and see the puffins which are a few km up the road) our favorite stay in Iceland

Great place for puffins!

We visited the puffin nesting observatory a few years back and on this trip took my brother and sister to the same location, although the puffins had since left in late August. However, still a very nice place to stay and if you are there earlier in the year, a fantastic place to witness puffins up close and personal!

We loved our stay at blabjorg! The apartment we stayed in was a good deal and everything (and more) we expected. There were some issues with broken lights, but quickly resolved by the very friendly staff. The included breakfast was nice, but a bit lacking in availability.

Gorgeous room with a great view, tasteful decor with beautiful wooden furniture in the room - they also had a safe, coffee machine and smart TV which was nice. Super helpful and smooth reception service, and one of the few double beds we had in Iceland that wasn’t two single beds pushed together! Food in the restaurant was great for dinner and breakfast too, and the breakfast staff was very accommodating.

Great host. Responsive even in the middle of the night when we were lost. Immaculately clean!!! And right on the water with spectacular view!!! Wished we could have stayed another night and used the spa. Really good breakfast provided. We were in the guesthouse portion, and it was great!

Great everything but the beds

The place is fantastic. From location to the services they provide everything was great. The restaurant makes a really good meal. The breakfast was very good compared to other places in Iceland. I just wish the bed was more comfortable. The pillows could stand to be firmer as well.

Our stay at Blabjorg Resort was great. The two bedroom apartment is comfortable and spacious. One bedroom and bathroom upstairs one bedroom downstarirs. The bedroom in the upper floor is very bright. Keep that in mind if you go in summer. The restaurant food was delicious we had dinner and breakfast there. The breakfast is included. We also used the Spa that was heavenly. From there there is just a 10 minute drive to go and see Puffins upclose. The whole area is beautiful and peaceful. We will deffinetly comeback!

Very nice, spacious room and a nice property. Only major qualm is with the flies- our room had a handful of flies (dead & alive, maybe 40), which are present because of the waterfront location. The main issue was that, while understandingly semi-unavoidable, there were a LOT of dead flies that I feel could have been taken care of by the facility. Understandably maybe couldn’t have gotten rid of all of the flies, but for the number of dead flies in corners & windowsills, I feel like these could have been addressed with an easy vacuum sweep or putting up fly traps. Otherwise, the room was clean & the property was quite nice! Would stay again as long as I went with someone who would battle the flies!

Puffin Viewing Paradise.

Stayed in one of their Comfort Studio (Apartment) rooms. Great room with all you'd need for a stay (appliances, places to comfortably rest, eat, etc). The location of these apartments were the real draw. This apartment was right on the waterfront with an amazing view of the mountains on the other side of the fjord. It is also a short drive from Halfnarholmi (Puffin Marina) ...likely THE best spot to view Puffins in the summer in Iceland. Thousands of them there, and you could get within feet of quite a few. If you want to see Puffins, a stop in Borgarfjordur Eystri is a must, and this location was fantastic.
