Just had a brilliant week at this lovely cottage, it has everything you could ask for, also has a very pretty, private, enclosed garden which we enjoyed very much. Host was at the property to greet us & was very helpful, also left us a great welcome pack. There is so much to see & do in the area & it's in a superbly quiet area that is only a short ride away from so many shops, pubs & places of interest. Our very favourite pub was Bull's Head in Monyash which we actually visited 3 times. Our only negative comment about the cottage is the main bathroom, beautiful as it is the shower is over the bath & as the sides of the bath are so high some may find it a bit difficult to get in & out of, would have been perfection had it been a walk in shower. Also make sure you put something in the bath to stand on as we found it very slippery. We were a party of 3 adults so it was great to find a property with 2 bathrooms. One bedroom is ensuite & the 2nd room can use the main bathroom but it's not ideal as it's down 3 steps then up another 3 to get to & as it is right next door to the ensuite room we always seemed to wake up our friend if we used the bathroom in the night as the door handles are quite noisy. Because of this we slept with our bedroom door open & used the bathroom with the door open which again is not ideal. Thought it important to mention the bathroom issue but at the same time it was our only problem & everything else about the cottage was brilliant & such a high standard.
