"This hotel was a very pleasant surprise! From the outside it looks dated, but when I walked in the lobby it was very cozy and modern. The employee who checked was delightful and very helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and roomy. We will be staying here again as it was less crowded and expensive while picking our daughter up at ISU than staying Terre haute on such a busy weekend."

"The staff was courteous and friendly. No problems with them. Except for the coffee, the breakfast offerings were tasteless. Pillows on the bed were too big, heavy and too firm. A coffee maker in the room is something we count on, as we don't like to have to get dressed before going to the breakfast room."

"The staff were amazing! Surprisingly, we had the exact same room as we did almost one full year ago. The room is decently clean but floors weren’t as debris-free as I would hope. The shower edges were showing discoloration in the caulking (not sure if it was due to aging or cleanliness). The closet door was in need of adjustment as it was jammed to the point of needing to be aggressively yanked to open it. Last year, when we stayed, the most upper part of the wall above the bed (7’-8’ up the wall) had a couple strange stains. I thought we gad mentioned the stains last year but they were still there this year."

"Room was clean. Pillows a bit firm for my preference. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast had decent options for a free meal. Did not use pool or hot tub, although they were busy. Hotel is older. Rooms have been remodeled. Worked for our budget. 1 night stay. "

"The staff were helpful replacing the broken office chair in my room. I didn't bother them about the broken soap dispenser. And, the electronic function was quite helpful with my checkout request."
