This was a well kept charming rental. Everything was expected and I appreciated the clear instruction and communication from the owner. Would definitely stay again!
Tony was a wonderful host. He was very responsive with the check in and with any questions. The Vrbo felt like home after long days of adventures. Home was very comfortable and so accommodating with all of the extras especially the espresso machine. Sunrise over the mountains while having coffee on the deck started every right. The fall colors of the aspens around the cabin were an added bonus
We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house met our needs perfectly. The drive to the house was a bit longer than we anticipated though and the owner’s directions to have all-wheel drive should be followed. Great location for Red Rocks and fall colors. Despite this we have no complaints. Tony’s communication was excellent. Highly recommend this house in Bailey.
Stayed here for a few days because we were in area for a show at Red Rocks. Location was great beautiful area and lots of cool places to explore near home. The home is very clean and has everything you would want for a comfortable stay. Would definitely stay here again in future trips to this area.
Great out of the way cabin with stunning views, I needed to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle and this was the perfect place. Close enough for some day trips with the family and out of the way for some quiet relaxation at the end of the day!
Property and location were spectacular! We traveled from New Jersey, building a trip around a Concert at Red Rocks featuring Ryan Bingham. Great trip and complimented with a great home.
We loved the house. It was secluded and had beautiful views from the open deck. Everything you could need was there in the kitchen and the downstairs was a fantastic hangout area. We loved the it and will be back!
Wonderful and relaxing! Everything was great in this cabin. The view is a amazing and the stars are endless. Quiet and peaceful. Great place to unwind and disconnect.
Breathtaking views of the mountains on our drive from the airport. Great home, well equipped, very clean, plenty of space. Well stocked with games & books. Nice quality linens & towels. Very helpful & responsive owners.
This home is amazing. Please listen to the host when they say you need 4WD to get to the property in the winter. Our 4WD truck got stuck and we had to use chains, so plan properly. Also be ready for the neighbor down the hill to laugh at you and record if you get stuck.
The house itself is amazing. Lots of windows and great views. Very spacious and lots of games and puzzles available for family time. Host is very responsive to messages.
Cabin was amazing and Tony was a great host. I highly recommend them both. Make sure you pay attention to the details on the listing. Tony does an awesome job of letting you know everything to expect. If you have issues with altitude sickness it is pretty high up but that is also part of what makes it awesome. And the road I’m sure would be difficult in the winter but we had no issues on our summer stay. All in all - if it’s a good fit and you’re able to stay here - do so!!!! We absolutely loved it!!
We are a family of 4 (including 2 teen girls 16 & 19). This great cabin gave them the room to be "away from parents" instead of stuck in a hotel room with us. So, it goes without saying, the internet works. Tony is quick to respond & very communicative. Their home is very comfortable with everything we needed. We even made use of their little piano, game & puzzles. It took awhile for my husband to figure out the classic Starbucks espresso machine, but he conquered it & made great drinks! We were there during an Aug heat wave, but the cabin stays cool despite not having AC with nice breeze. A couple nice neighbors, but feels secluded & safe. I'd say a 4-wheeler is best even during non-winter seasons. Getting places may seem slow-going because of winding roads, but we went all over from this location: airport, Red Rocks, Evergreen, Colorado Springs (Garden of Gods), Treehouse Adventures in Bailey is great! We ate at Crossroads Pub & Grill, great food/service. We really enjoyed our stay
Awesome, secluded mountain cabin but close to FUN!
My wife, adult son and I all came to the Denver area for a run of three nights at Red Rocks (in early July), and we had an amazing time! I had hoped to find a place to stay out away from Denver but still within an hour or so drive from the things we wanted to do. This place was the perfect answer!
The house is tidy, well equipped and cozy. Everything you need and so much more. The starry night sky is breathtaking as are the views of the nearby peaks. The incline of the dirt road for the last few hundred yards to the house is no joke (from a midwesterner’s perspective), but it’s very doable. I’m absolutely positive that 4WD would be necessary in the winter but not a problem without it in July.
It’s about a 45 minute drive from Red Rocks, which was fine before the shows. After the shows, I found myself wishing the house was closer, but upon arriving back at our home away from home, I was reminded each night that this was exactly what I had wanted.
There are numerous hiking trails nearby, and a day trip to Garden of the Gods was only about 75 minutes away.
All in all, I couldn’t possibly have been any happier with our choice!! Absolutely loved this place!
Absolutely loved the location of the cabin!! House sits at about 9,000’ and offered great views. Cabin was very clean and host was very responsive.
We opted to sleep in the basement bedroom to allow our kids (ages 12 & 15) to sleep in the bedrooms across from each other on the main level. Please note, both bathrooms are located in the hallway on each floor, so there isn’t a private master bath if that’s important to you.
A few things would improve my overall rating of the cabin:
1) Blackout blinds in all bedrooms
2) Updated kitchenware (full set of measuring cups/spoons rather than random partial sets for example)
3) Shower water temp seemed to be gauged for a maximum temp that was only luke-warm. Water temp at sinks got really hot, so it didn’t seem to be an issue with the water heater.
4) Lower level toilet is very small and not very suitable for adults.
5) requirement to remove trash if you have more than 2 bags. This seems like a basic service that should be included.
Even with these suggested improvements, we very much enjoyed our stay. The cabin offered tons of space for the teens to have their own space. Hundreds of trail options located nearby. If you’re looking for a cabin that is outside of the hustle and bustle of typical touristy mountain towns, look no further!
Our stay was very pleasant!!! This was our first time renting a cabin in this area and Tony was very helpful always responded right away with any questions we had!! I couldn’t recommend it enough if you want to get away from the city and just relax
We were in town for a wedding, and this made for a wonderful group lodging. We were able to have breakfast out on the deck one morning - beautiful! The next day it snowed... so we were inside instead. CO weather is no joke!
Our family had a wonderful stay at this home. It had everything we needed to spend time together relaxing. It was a great location for nearby hikes each day. The deck had cozy furniture and amazing views. Communication with the host was excellent!
Wonderful home, had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, listening to the birds and watching the hummingbirds. It was great to venture out to hike or to Red Ricks for our concert and then return up the mountain to the peace and quiet. Would definitely considering staying again if we are back in the area.
We loved our visit to your cabin. The road to the cabin was a bit rough but given it's quiet location, we handled it. Enjoyed the quiet and the deck with so many Aspen trees We lucked out and had Hummingbirds buzzing around our heads and the feeders while enjoying the beautiful deck. The cabin was clean, nicely furnished and comfortable. We didn't even feel the need to watch TV!!
