When planning our wedding we were looking for a place in the Douro Valley that could serve as our wedding venue for 35 people AND a place to stay for all 13 of our friends. That is truly priceless. Everything, and we mean EVERYTHING was even better than we could have imagined. The house itself is magical - a true gem in such a charming part of the Douro Valley. It is much bigger than it seems online and you can hang here for days without ever leaving property because there is so much to do. Our group really enjoyed the pool and cooking in the very well appointed kitchen. The breakfast every morning was perfect and the house felt so spacious that even with 15 of us you would have to make an effort to run into everyone! One of our absolute favorite parts about our stay was how the home really felt like home. Marcus went above and beyond to make us feel like the place was ours and to invite all of our friends to enjoy it as well. From the bottom of our hearts - muito obrigado!!!!"
