A nice quiet room with a separate living and a kitchen. The living room has a plant balcony overlooking the courtyard.

Giant murals and artwork created by artists from over 125 countries in the heart of a small quiet beach town Bahia de Caraquez just minutes away from the white sand beach on the Rio Chone Estuary and the Pacific Ocean. Catfish & Flounder(our black labradors)will greet and welcome you when you arrive.

Seriously what is this place? This place is the chilliest Boutique Hostel in Ecuador, CoCo Bongo in Bahia de Caraquez. Rated in Culture Trip Top 10 in Ecuador and the perfect spot to run away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities and get out the flip fop and breath in the salt air.

Looking to make the leap and move to Ecuador, and this is an exploratory trip? CoCo Bongo has excellent options for extended stays, property tour packages, and various cultural day tours. Older property, in a dark area with little light. The lobby receptionist was pleasant. Upon arrival, I was welcomed by a friendly receptionist. However, the property's location was poorly lit and outdated. Stay included breakfast from 6 -10 AM, but because their cook had to go to another job, breakfast was from 7-8 AM.
