The down sides are both the fact that in order to go to Ella you must take a tuktuk. "We had a wonderful stay at Elevate Ella! The location is perfect, with amazing views that make the stay truly special. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to relax and unwind. The pool is lovely and the perfect spot for some afternoon relaxation while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was another highlight, with something different each day and a great mix of local and Western options. There was plenty of variety, and everything we tried was delicious. Overall, the combination of the beautiful views, perfect location, spacious rooms, relaxing pool, varied breakfast, and warm hospitality made our stay very enjoyable. "We had a lovely stay at Ella Retreat. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and included a fridge, kettle, little cooktop and kitchen sink which was handy. We had one of the best breakfasts of our trip here - it was delicious and very generous with portions, with lots of options to choose from. Just look out for the monkeys who might pay you a visit with an eye for your food! Complimentary archery was fun, and we loved the rustic charm of the place. Please note that you can not park at the accommodation - they have a parking spot at the bottom of the hill and will cart you and your luggage up in a tuktuk (about a 5 min drive up a narrow, winding road)."

"Amazing place. Can’t fault a single thing. We stayed in a two bedroom suite and it was amazing. Staffs are very polite and helpful. Always ready to help with a buggy. Spa was amazing in a very scenic set up. Secluded yet just a few mins drive to main city centre. Pool area is nice but the pool is rather small. Breakfast is very good, made to order. Complimentary guided trek to little Adams peak just behind the resort. They gave discount vouchers for Ravana pool club and zip lining but we didn’t have time to try. Overall fully recommend."
