Relaxing in Bad Harzburg
Very nice place to relax in Bad Harzburg, walking distance to the main attractions. Nice breakfast with a lot of choice and variations. Good sauna room.

Ok for getting out of the city
Overall Harzburg is an ok town if you don't have too much to do and you want to just walk around in the woods. So, although the hotel is centric, there is not that much going on around. That said, the hotel has some nice facilities like sauna and wellness room. The breakfast is also very good. One of the front desk employees was great, sweet and helpful, the rest were quite cold, not particularly rude, just plain direct. The room can definitely use an uplift, specially the rug, it is time for a change, it had two huge stains that left me wondering what had happened there, not ok. The beds were also not that great but the rokm had a huge flat screen.

Interesting little gem in Harz
This hotel is clean and welcoming although expect a few Germanic touches, such as double rooms with the beds anchored against opposite walls and stairs you have to go down before you can go up, but the beds were comfortable and the bathroom worked well. One nice touch - 2 chairs to sit in, not the usual one. The reputation for breakfast here is well deserved with all you could expect from fruits and yoghurt through to smoked salmon and - for Sunday - sparkling wine. Location is close to the main street so it is easy to get about. Parking can be a problem as there are limited spaces at the hotel. Also - if this your first visit to the Harz area, please don't expect everyone to automatically speak English. The owner here does speak English well but for others we often had to resort to our limited German.

Sehr schönes Ambiente im klassischen Stil. Ein großes & ruhiges Einzelzimmer (32) mit guter Aussicht über die Stadt bis zum kleinen Burgberg. Umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet & Angebot im Hotel, wie auch freundliches aufmerksames Personal. Von der Lage sehr dicht zum Stadtzentrum & Stadtpark

Superservice och bra läge!
Hotellet ligger lugnt men centralt. Rymliga rum och rent och fint. Mycket god frukost. Man kunde ladda sin elbil vilket var positivt. Ett litet len funktionellt gym. Det bästa var personalen! Varmt välkomnande, hjälpsamma och alla verkade älska sina jobb. Härligt!
