Very high quality hotel with good comfy beds, fully fitted bathroom and high quality leather chair/sofa. Heated towel rail in bathroom and radiator in room worked when chilly evening. Extensive high quality breakfast. Owner actively involved in greeting guests etc. 5 parking spaces in front and plenty of free street...

"The situation was good and the hotel pleasant. Staff downright rude - we asked where the bar was for pre-dinner drinks only to find they'd locked it up within 10 minutes of asking. Presumably they didn't like the thought of seven men having a drink despite the fact that all in their sixties or seventies. We were then offered to be served drinks outside but no-one came in 15 minutes so we took our business elsewhere. We will not be returning to this establishment which is a pity as a pleasant...
