"Staff was NOT welcoming everything from checkin to checking out. I asked for a later checkout as my friend and I were going to hangout and explore Bmore after the Fantasia concert last night. The tub was stopped up had to call maintenance and the sink was stopped up this morning and also had to call maintenance. Noone asked us how we were hoped everything was handle if we needed anything. They couldnt gave us a breakfast voucher for the inconvenience. That was to much like right. "

"We recently stayed at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Baltimore Inner Harbor and unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve had. We will not be returning and would not recommend this location. We chose this hotel primarily for its proximity to CFG Bank Arena, which was indeed convenient and within walking distance. However, that was the only positive aspect of our stay. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt disorganized. Valet parking was confusing—there was no clear indication of whether they were affiliated with the hotel or the building. We followed the instructions on the ticket to text ahead for our car, but when we arrived, the request hadn’t been processed and we still had to notify them in person. Check-in was equally frustrating. The front desk staff came across as rushed and uninterested, despite it not being busy at all. There was no hospitality, no warmth—just a transactional experience that made us feel like an inconvenience rather than guests. The room itself was fine and matched the photos, but the hotel overall offers very little in terms of amenities. For a Kimpton-branded property, it felt underwhelming—comparable to a basic roadside hotel rather than a boutique experience. There is no true lounge or bar area, only a restaurant that closes early, so don’t expect to enjoy a cocktail or unwind in the evening. Customer service continued to decline throughout our stay. "Well I was staying here because I was going to a show this day staff was good one elevator working at the time five minute walk to my concert. I’ll stay here again."

"I had a great view of the ballpark from the 19th floor. Room was immaculate. My only reason for not giving 5 stars, was the $50 Early Check-in fee. It was Opening Day for the Orioles, so I had to get there 4 hours early to secure a hotel parking spot. I got one of the last parking spots. It would have been nice if they kept enough spaces for everyone that had booked a room. My friend showed up an hour later and had to park 5 blocks away and he had a room reservation. So, at least for Opening Day, they should have waived the $50 fee, imo. "
