"Church House was perfect for me and my three teen grandsons to explore Sao Miguel. There was plenty of room to spread out, inside and outside. The kitchen was well equipped, but be sure to buy ground coffee. There is no coffee grinder. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and very clean. The beds are comfortable. "We had a wonderful stay on this property. The grounds are beautifully kept and the cottage was well equipped and comfortable. The location is extremely convenient, close to the airport, 5 minutes to a supermarket and 5 minutes to a gorgeous beach. Our hosts were wonderful and answered any questions we might have had. This is a great place to stay if you're looking for a quiet, peaceful spot to relax. Would be geat for families with small children as well."

"We came to the Azores for my daughter's wedding. My wife picked out this place from the pic's on your site. The place far surpassed the photos. Have never seen grounds that were so beautiful and the cottage was just as nice. Great owners, friendly neighbors. Easy access to the highway. If (or when) we come back, I would stay here once again."

"Location walking distance to beach and nearby excellent restaurant but also close to the city of Praia and all it has to offer. Highly recommend it. Only Thimg to consider is there was only one bathroom but for moderate size group like ours-5, was ok."

"The place is really lovely and very clean. There is a great view of Pico, and we loved looking out at the lights of Pico from the porch at night. Rita was very responsive to any issues we had. The wifi was really weak, even after Rita provided a new router. Visitors should download tv shows or movies in advance if they want to watch anything during their stay. We loved coming home to this house at the end of the day!!!"

"It’s a beautiful setting in the garden. The home is roomy and cozy, it has everything you need. It had a musty smell which is typical, I kept the windows open always which got rid of the smell. Windows have screens which is much appreciated! It is below another apartment so you do hear some footsteps and noise. This is why I didn’t give it full stars. You can sometimes hear dogs and loud cars in the distance but it’s not too bothersome."
