Exceptionally big room. Beautiful hotel. Amazing staff. Everyone was eager to help. They were at task at all times. Room service was also great. Restaurant at the hotel is an experience on itself as the view to the zocalo square is breathtaking and the food was delicious. Safe but a bit chaotic location. Walking distance to all historic center sites- saving a lot of time in As a guest you take the iron door elevator as many times as you want. Just call Alejandro and he takes you. Definitely a great stay!!

Beautiful, still great service and staff

The property was beautiful. We booked a junior suite during a Black Friday offer and it was just lovely. Spacious with a table and seating area, large bathroom and shower, and beautiful wood beamed ceilings and a wall of windows overlooking the Zocalo. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel's cafe had free everything but alcohol for guests, which was incredibly helpful for us to grab bottled water coming and going. They had coffee, snacks and even wraps or pizza too. The hotel restaurant, El Balcon del Zocalo, had very nice breakfasts. They were included in our rate, and given how good the food was and that the restaurant was covered but open air overlooking the Zocalo, we enjoyed it every morning before going out for the day. Our last night in town we had dinner there too and the food was very good. They also had a nice selection of Mexican wines to try. The wait staff were excellent. The location right on the Zocalo had its advantages and disadvantages. We were right on top of many sights we wanted to see - the Cathedral, Templo Mayor, Palacio Nacional, Museo Vivo del Muralismo, etc., but it was also noisy in our room overlooking the Zocalo. There was a cultural festival going on while we were there that contributed to the noise, but overall, it was a delightful opportunity to be close to the action and walk out our door and join the festival. I would definitely go back here if we stayed in the Centro Historico again.

This is an upscale boutique hotel with a very cool vibe. No gym or restaurant or room service but a kitchen adequate for snacks. Coffee in the rooms and lobby and fresh croissants in the morning. Extremely clean, very helpful warm staff. Huge rooms (only 44 over 11 floors) with ultra modern layouts. Very quiet rooftop garden area for lounging. Trendy neighbourhood with so many great restaurants.
