"I wasn't provided with check in instructions, so when I arrived I felt a bit lost. I asked inside Greggs and Subway, they informed me that I had to go to the petrol station to collect my room key, it was smooth from there. Room was clean and tidy. Bathroom needed a little TLC, cracks on the bath, ceiling, marks on the floor. Had free WiFi, TV, and tea / coffee facilities. Bed was comfy and clean. Good value for money. Would stay again as very convenient for short trip"

"Wonderful period property, all modern conveniences, comfortable beds, luxury bedding, spotlessly clean.
Situated just off the high street with secure on site parking, and within walking distance of various eating establishments.
Website is easy to use, and informative, covers everything you need to know about the property and local area.
Jamie & Gary are fabulous hosts.
Highly recommend this establishment."

"Cosy traditional b&b room above the pub itself, surprisingly quiet (never heard a sound) even though the pub below is a very popular place and full every night.
Nice breakfast, good evening meal, can’t fault the place. Patrick and the locals were very friendly, we happily chatted amongst them all evening on both nights we stayed.
All in all a very good time, would we stay again? Absolutely no problem at all."

"Hotel location was very good and the staff were very nice and helpful. The cooked breakfast was excellent.
The room was comfortable and clean but the walls are thin so you can hear adjoining TVs and voices. It's worth packing some earplugs if you like an earlyish bed time."

"Breakfast excellent extensive choice, room lovely spacious great view with a balcony tastefully decorated . Good parking available onside. Close to all amenities staff helpful.
Bad points, the shown pool and jacuzzi were closed due to the local hosepipe ban apparently this was mot communicated in the hotel website or Expedia only when we got there. Shower pressure not great overall it was good."
"Everything about the hotel was fantastic except for the parking. We paid to park which is fine but sometimes the disabled parking spots were full of vans which didn’t display a disabled badge. I told the person at reception but they said they couldn’t do anything about it"
"Great spot.Pretty decent facilities but they are getting a littles tired. One of the radiators didn't work. A shower handle was missing. Door lock to one of the bathrooms was very loose and would come off. Boilers noise is a real pain...sounded like buzzing bees and would keep guests awake in adjacent rooms if water was used anywhere in the chalet. Staff did say maintenance had gone home when items were reported but they would be out in the morning to look. Unfortunately no sign of any maintenance team! A real shame as have used the hotel on many occasions but this just didn't quite live up to what we were hoping for."
"Had a lovely stay at The George Hotel in Axminster. The staff are very warm and welcoming, lovely decor and comfy room which was spotlessly clean. Enjoyed the Chicken Supreme and Orange Cheesecake for dinner and a very hearty breakfast."
