"It was a fine place to stay for a while.
It was nice with a view over the habour.
We didn't meet any people at the place. It was self- check in.
Also the place was nice and clean. I would have liked a little more cutlery.
One of our towels had brown spots and so did the kitchen towel. Also the one matress didn't look nice and had brown spots. Also the one light in the bathroom didn't work. We also only had 3 cups, but 3 of glass, plates etc.

"Just as Visby is an ideal place for a relaxing weekend, the hotel is quiet, clean and very well located, just a 5-minute walk from the town centre and harbour (just be aware that the climb up to the hotel can be a good exercise for the legs).
The staff were very welcoming and showed a great deal of attention to helping me check in late and make my stay a pleasant one.
I also found the breakfast delicious and wide-ranging.

"The annexe where we stayed was beautifully clean and comfortable. Older patrons or people with mobility issues need to be aware that there are three flights of stairs to be climbed (with luggage) in order to get to some of the annexe rooms."

"Historic, close to garden, ocean and centre. My room was a bit hot and traffic was noisy. Breakfast was great, yoga in St Clemens ruins each day was glorious. "

The staff are super friendly and helpful,and the whole place was spotlessly clean and in great condition, no signs of wear and tear. Comfortable beds, and although not a huge range for breakfast, the selection was fresh and tasty.

"This is a typically wonderful Scandic hotel with excellent service, great beds, and decadent breakfasts and is right across the road from the Central Train Station. It also has a good, though oddly painted dark, gym. The outside is safe but a lot of smokers and drunks hang out there."

This was a cute, old school looking house with a very well stocked kitchen set in a wooded area. I have a mold sensitivity and it had been closed up and therefore really a problem for me initially. Luckily I had an N95 mask to wear as it cleared out. My other problem was that the blind in the main bedroom wasn’t wide enough and the sun drilled into my eyes at 4:30 am!"
