Pleasant and quiet stay in a comfortable room

Very quiet and peaceful place. Well appointed room. Breakfast verged on a simpler buffet type. Building is on the hill top and in the 1700s or 1800s served as Gotland’s archive. Lovely view of harbour from our bedroom. Well located just a 10-minute walk into the heart of Visby.

building itself was very old and that create some minor issues, e.g. main door stairs were a bit worned out etc. However, nice small hotel + location was great - very easy to access downtown + easy to get out from the town (buy car). We thoroughly enjoyed this little manor house. Loved the floor heating in the bathroom and the beautiful ancient windows. Absolute best was their breakfast, by far the BEST breakfast I ever had at any hotel around the world. The only thing that was a bit unusual, we booked the deluxe room and were expecting a sitting area, but only got one chair and a stool at a tiny desk. It did not look like the picture n the internet. It only bugged me on the one day we had rain and hung out in the room for a bit. Walkable to town without being in the midst of party area at night. Quiet enough to sleep with the windows open. Loved this experience.

Booked the room becuse they advertised WiFi and Caboe TV and we really needed both . WiFI was horrible and cable TV didn’t even exist. Blaming myself for not checking reviews better beforehand because then I would have seen that already in 2021and 2022 hotel got bad reviews for just WiFi and cable . The girls that worked in the front desk was absolutely amazing and very sweet and helpful and helped us solve our issues the best they could being very creative. Cable TV doesn’t exist there even though they advertise it and WiFi seams to be a problem owners have no intention to solve . The hotel Should be very thankful for their amazing staff .

This is a typically wonderful Scandic hotel with excellent service, great beds, and decadent breakfasts and is right across the road from the Central Train Station. It also has a good, though oddly painted dark, gym. The outside is safe but a lot of smokers and drunks hang out there.

Very nice old hotel in great location, just outside main center of Visby - 5 mins walk to main square. Staff very friendly and good breakfast. As an old hotel it doesn’t have air conditioning and rooms can get hot when the weather is sunny.

250+ year old building excellently converted into a small 4 star hotel. Great location in the old city near many bars and restaurants. Breakfast choice is limited but of good quality. Only 4 working stations in the TV abd variable WiFi. 9 minutes walk from the ferry terminal.

Not much atmosphere

A pleasant hotel but the reception area is very small and the rest of the building comprised corridors with rooms and no social space (that I could find). Helpful receptionists but not 24/7. Breakfast OK but unremarkable. Nice Swedish decor but elements of the hotel looked tired (eg room documentation and signs, broken steps up to the entrance).

Nice and cosy small hotel, well situated ,short distance to everything in the old town. Unfortunately daily maintenance seems to be neglected -in our room safe did not work, hand shower also broken and some spotlights in the roof. No aircond in the room so can be pretty warm during summertime.

Litet mindre trevligt hotell. Trevlig personal i reception och även frukostvärdinnan var trevlig. Inget överdåd i frukostalternativ men täckte gott och väl behovet för en frukost. Rent rum och de hade handtvål, shampoo/duschtvål och lotion. Litet minus var att jag inte uppfattade att vattenflaskorna de hade i minibaren ingick. Kontaminerat vatten
