The Charter at Beaver Creek D360

  • This ski-in, ski-out, two-bedroom residence is a harmonious marriage of rustic and modern that offers a family room with a complete kitchen with granite countertops, as well as a dining area. Additional features include two guest suites, each with a king size bed and attached, upgraded bathroom, a desk/work space, private deck, washer/dryer and garage parking.



    Guests will appreciate The Charter’s outstanding location and on-site amenities including: indoor and outdoor swimming pools, hot tubs, a fitness facility, two restaurants, Charter Sports, a full-service ski, snowboard and bike shop, the game room and fire pit. Complimentary shuttle service to/from Beaver Creek and Bachelor Gulch is also available.

    Construction activity through September 1st may be visible or occasionally audible from this condo, though disruptions are expected to be minimal. A discounted rate has been applied in consideration of this anticipated impact. Please contact our reservations team with questions.

Bait and switch pricing practices - stay somewhere else

It's clear that The Charter and East West Hospitality don't mind lying to their customers, which I am sure is reflected in many of their business practices. If you have the choice to stay here or other locations in the area, don't stay here. The VRBO listing indicates that parking is available, but it does not mention that parking costs $40 a day per car. We had two cars between the three of us. So the actual price ended up being 15% higher than was advertised. Had I known this at the time of booking, I would have booked somewhere else, since there were plenty of other reasonably priced options in the area. I called the Charter management to ask about this, they simply said "it's in the email we sent you after you already booked". They were right - it was in the email buried at the bottom in the "complimentary amenities" section that I received after entering my credit card and completing my reservation. The customer service agent I talked to wasn't concerned. She told me I could have read that email and cancelled the reservation, which is the definition of bait-and-switch. The Charter, and their management company East West Hospitality, are dishonest hosts. Avoid them if you can.
