Disliked: Cleanliness
We rented this garden-level condo for our Christmas vacation. It had some great basics that we appreciated, but unfortunately, a couple of issues kept it from being the comfortable stay we'd hoped for.
Pros:
- Good hot water
- All appliances worked well, which is very helpful.
Cons:
- Need to keep lights on during the day, just something to expect with the garden-level layout.
- A persistent urine smell seemed to be coming from the sofa or the carpet under the coffee table.
- A loud, constant dripping sound from the bathroom made falling asleep pretty difficult at night.
We hope this feedback is helpful for both the host and future guests.

Liked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, communication
We did a late summer visit and liked the location near a nice walking/biking trail on a river and a short drive to dining and just 10 minutes to Vail and great hiking options. The property was clean and communication with the hosts was very good.
Location location location. My family and I had a wonderful time in Avon. This condo is extremely close to world class skiing and great restaurants around town. The host provided all necessary information and was available for pop up questions. Thanks so much for having us!
Wonderful place for our family of five. Plenty of room to gather and easy parking. The place was immaculately clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back.
Property consistent with other reviews - nice on inside, storage place for skis, pet friendly, and walking distance to Bear Lot (shuttle there to ski resort). Thanks!
Really nice place! We had a fantastic stay! The location is perfect - just a short walk to Nottingham Park and the beautiful trails along the Eagle River. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, and we appreciated the cozy living room with relaxing natural light coming in. The furniture had a nice mix of modern and classic pieces. Overall, a great mountain getaway!
Came up for the XTERRA triathlon in Avon . Was a great location .. as the park with the lake is within walking distance . Had everything we needed . Ruslan the owner was the best I’ve seen at getting back to me promptly ! Highly recommend!
This is an absolutely wonderful launching point to ski either Beaver Creek or Vail. Our family of six (and one four-legged friend) loved the home and had a wonderful week. The owners communicate clearly and often and helped whenever needed. The house has everything you need and comfortably slept our big family. Perfect spot to get to Beaver Creek each day!! Can't wait to come back next year....WILL stay here again!
It’s close to a bus stop and easy to get to the mountains! The kitchen was loaded with a lot of thoughtful amenities that made cooking for our family a breeze. There were lots of extra comforters which was very pleasant. The guest shower head was a little low for me but for my partner it was fine. Overall, it was a very nice stay in a convenient location. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again.
This is an older condo that has been meticulously renovated with high end finishes. The kitchen is well equipped and the furniture is comfortable. The unit is ground level so there is some noise on the stairs outside but it was minimal. The location is perfect. Right across the street from the secondary entrance to Beaver Creek. Svetlana was very friendly and super helpful.
We enjoyed our stay! Great location, walkable to the river, ski lift to Beaver Creek, restaurants, shops, the city park. Nice neighbors who live there full time. The beds and living room were very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. Good size for a family with 2-3 kids. Bring your bike, you’re right near the bike path! We will be back!
The hosts were very helpful and responsive, and even suggested a free concert at the city park nearby. I had a little trouble using the parking app and the host took care of that right away.
We had a lovely time at this property. My family (husband and two teens) had ample space and enjoyed being so close to the slopes. It is easy to park at Bear Lot and get to Beaver Creek Resort. You are also close to Vail (10-15 minutes) and many other cute towns in the area. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We easily stored our skiis and equipment in a storage room. The kitchen was well appointed for what we needed - breakfast (coffee maker, good size fridge, pots and pans, oil, salt, tea kettle). The one downside to this apartment are the bathrooms. Loved having two bathrooms, but they are very outdated and small. Also, they have quirky modern faucets that are challenging to operate. The location was excellent - close to trails, skiing, restaurants, and the center of Avon.
We were a bit worried that the "small and cozy" description would feel cramped, but it was the exact opposite. The condo was so thoughtfully designed that it felt like a resort. The host has a knack for details—from high-quality linens to a well-stocked kitchen.
As first-timers in Avon, we had no idea where to go and what to do, but the host had us covered. Their detailed guidebook included hidden gems like local hiking spots and the best places to grab a late-night snack. It was like having a local tour guide without the fee.
And, oh my God, the location! We thought we’d have to drive around a lot, but everything we wanted was a quick walk away. We especially loved our early morning jogs around Nottingham Park and paddleboarding on the lake. We can’t wait to be back in winter to try out the nearby Beaver Creek ski lifts. Five stars all the way!
Great place to work remotely! First off, the Wi-Fi here is super-fast and reliable, which made my remote work a breeze. What really got me, though, was how easy it was to slide from work mode to chill mode. Finished a call and boom—I'm out the door and on a scenic bike path along the Eagle River in minutes. Or I could just kick back on the comfy sofa, crack open a local brew, and enjoy the mountain views.
The neighbors were very friendly who gave me the lowdown on where to find the best local eats and hidden trails. Felt like I was part of a small community, not just passing through.
The host was very responsive. They even tipped me off to a local jazz night at the park. Never would've known about that otherwise. So hosts didn't just give me a place to crash; it gave me a lifestyle I didn't want to leave. I will be back, although I used to be a hotel person!
Location was fine - walking distance to Nottingham Park and beautiful Eagle Vail trail.
WiFi was good, as was the washer/dryer, although the double sliding doors made transferring clothes awkward. Parking availability was also good.
Kitchen was adequate, but microwave always displayed “off” which made it difficult to use.
Beds were not comfortable and need to be replaced. Family room lacked adequate overhead lighting and seating (only 1 small couch). No fans anywhere in unit, which made it stuffy in late July heat. Some of the furniture was very dated and worn.
Master bathroom was tiny. Faucets in both bathrooms were stylish (Kohler) but awkward to use (motion sensor behind water spigot to turn on and to turn off). None of us got used to using them, even after a week stay.
Overall we enjoyed our stay but the unit needs some updating.
Very comfortable for 2 adults and 1 pet! Lots of offered amenities were much appreciated. We enjoyed our time in Avon, and the great food, especially at Mirabelle restaurant.Thank you
