"The location is great if you want to go snowmobiling; its very easy to get onto the VAST trail system from apartment. Unfortunately you need to leave your sled down in the back of the property, but its not very far. The interior of the apartment is very nice as was communicating with the rental agency. The only downside is that you can hear everything that is happening in the upstairs apartment. Every step that someone takes upstairs you can hear and can easily hear people talking as well. "

"The cottage was exactly as described. The private beach was so great and right across the street from the cottages. Our group of 7 had plenty of space and the teenagers lived having their own little cottage next to the main house. We’re so grateful dogs are allowed here too! We would love to come back during a warmer time of the year to enjoy swimming more, I forget how far north this is and by September it is quite chilly already. The beach is sandy, clean and shallow for quite a while."

"Basic, cozy cottage in a gorgeous place. We didn't need anything fancy in order to enjoy our few late summer days in the Northeast Kingdom! Just a few minutes from Lake Willoughby and an easy home base for local hikes and other places to visit. You can definitely feel the "beloved grandparent" vibe in this cottage. Anyone who has/had beloved grandparents in their life will understand the treasure of that. The cooking set-up is best for simple, quick meals almost as if you are camping. Rather than anything elaborate. We didn't bring any groceries that were quite right for the propane grill on the deck but I would do that in the future."

"We loved the hut! It was clean, adorable, and convenient. Special shout out to the comfortable bed and well supplied kitchen. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay at Lake Willoughby.The one issue we did notice was the couch smelled like a previous guest had let their wet dog sit on it so it was basically unusable. When combined with the lack of good seating on the front deck area (a table and chairs out there would be really nice), there was no good place to sit and hang out. However, since it was mostly a homebase for other adventures, it wasn’t a huge problem. Overall an excellent stay!"
