Welcome to Hamilton Cove Villa 18-58! | | | Feel at home in this stunning two- bedroom Villa with spectacular ocean views from the largest and most spacious balconies in Hamilton Cove. Sit in the comfortable living area while you bask in natural sunlight, or relish the peace and tranquility from not one but two private balconies. A fully equipped kitchen is great for stay-at-home meals. Dine inside at the six seat dining table, or wake up with your morning coffee outdoors using the patio furniture on the balconies. The first bedroom has a queen sized bed, plenty of closet and drawer storage for your vacation essentials, and a large dual sink bathroom. The open floor plan can become a private hide away, with retractable doors creating the second bedroom, also with a queen size bed and views of the ocean. | | Enjoy the nautical feel while soaking up the ocean breeze and never ending oceanscape. A queen size aerobed is available to sleep a total of 6 people. There is a limo 4 passenger seat golf cart, WIFI, High Definition TV and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. On one of the balconies you will find a propane BBQ ready for use! | There are 45 steps from the bottom of the building to the door (entrance is from the bottom of building 18). This is a shoeless unit! H1858 | | | Rental of a vacation home in Hamilton Cove includes use of the community’s amenities (pool, spa, health club, putting course, tennis courts, croquet court, sand volleyball court and beach area). Some restrictions may apply. Occupants subject to Hamilton Cove Homeowners Association Rules & Regulations. | | | This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum July & August). ----- This property is in a residential community and is only suitable for quieter groups. Our 5 day vacation was just what the dr. Ordered. Sitting on the balcony and just basking in the sunshine and ocean air was great! Having the golf cart was a fun way to get into town dining, shopping and sightseeing. We are definitely coming back next year!

Heavenly villa

Stayed in Hamilton Cove instead of our boat and that has been by far my favorite stay. Very quite location sans the many stairs

Spacious & Beautiful Views

Great amenities in Hamilton Cove and the golf cart being included is a huge perk. We had plenty of space for our family of 4, and there was plenty of cooking utensils and pots and pans. Would definitely return

Views and ants

We had a great time and the view from the upper balcony is wonderful. We did have a bit of an ant problem upstairs and down. Also, the golf cart was extremely dirty and needs a wash.

Beautiful views, spacious accommodations, well stocked kitchen and we enjoyed the pool and putting golf course. Great location, with a golf cart. The golf cart gets you where you’re going, but is very slow. We will come back again!

Family wedding

Upon arrival we quickly noticed the glasses were dirty. The floor was so dirty it made my bare feet black, when I opened the oven to make pizza I found a large glass baking pan with grease and two large pieces of old fish that smelled awful. The golf cart is in need of repair or replacement. Blinds are torn and wrinkled and the carpeting is very dirty on th. The entire furnishing is worn and outdated. Customer care when I called to complain about the dirty floor told me they don't was the floor but do sweep it.

Great view but that's it

This place was worn out and dirty. Broken patio furniture, filthy BBQ and the gas bottled needed replacing and no way to light it. It was NOT a gourmet kitchen as advertised. Scratched and worn pots and pans, broken flatware, terrible old (20yrs?) electric stove. One of the bedroom closets was trashed with broken beach and sports equipment. Broken window blinds, etc etc...

September 2019 Stay

To begin we have our parents here visiting from TX. We have all been to Catalina Island several times together. We decided to stay for a couple nights and settled on this location in Hamilton Cove since some of the other properties we were interested in were not available. I’d like to start with all the things that were great about this stay. The views couldn’t have been better, the square footage was great, the property was beautiful, and there was a golf cart (although old and quite dirty) it got us around town adequately. There were many things that were quite disappointing when staying in a place at this price point. To name a few, difficult key entry, shoeless property with dirty stained carpet, exposed media wiring hanging from bottom of TV. There were ants everywhere, the bathrooms, the living room, and in the master bedroom, a table turned on its side with no glass top on patio. This place has potential to be five star if some of these things were corrected and possibly update home in general.

Let me start out by saying the views were amazing! Unfortunately, unit was outdated and he dishes were dirty like someone had rinsed them and packed away. The golf carts was also old and dated and they have a lot of rules and charges for going outside the rules at an insane price I would expect better accommodations with all the rules they want you to follow. For example, there was a fee for not taking out the trash before you leave or for excessive noise or for not cleaning the dishes that were already dirty. Not to mention they charge a substantial cleaning fee and expect you to clean the place before you leave. Also, we almost couldn’t get in the unit because there isn’t any phone service in the area and we didn’t get the key code prior to getting to the property. The communication should have been better. Otherwise the trip was good and very relaxing overall.

Unfortunate

We had high hopes for this place. Location is amazing and it comes with a golf cart. That is unfortunately where the good part of this review ends. We had armies of ants. The unit is dated. The golf cart worked but barely made it up the hills and was old and dirty. It says sleeps 6 - but not if your aerobed (there were 3 in the unit) has a hole in it. Yes, they all had a hole. The unit has so much potential but it’s dated and needs some (A LOT) of TLC. Wish I could write a better review. Location is amazing.
