It is always disappointing that guests don't enjoy themselves and that we get blamed for their lack of research before they arrive. This group clearly did not look at our property profile that would have shown them that they had booked a unique experience at a eco retreat, with free ranging animals to enjoy. The spa was beautifully presented, all they had to do was remove the spa cover for use. The property has good lights inside and out for night time use. We got a message late at night to say they wanted to be closer in town. We simply don’t understand why people book knowing our location and then complain and think we are to blame. When they first arrived they started to attempt to enter another building, that was nothing to the description or visual appearance of their booked building, and reports of them yelling out for attendance throughout the property, as a disturbance to other guests. They received good communication and directions to their building, and they had great photos from the booking platform to what their building looked like. First building they would have seen.

Judy's review reflects her negative head space and bad mood she was in when she arrived to our property. Management responded to all of her apparent needs, though unfortunately nothing seemed to satisfy Judy. She demonstrated a consistent rude and negative response to every attempt we made to satisfy this guest. She was clearly aware prior to booking and arrival, that due to the Covid threats to health and the managements pregnancy status that it was a self-check in and help was given via phone, as we did. Judy's case involved nothing that was needed to have someone come into her space and attend to anything. She simply needed the internet password that was given and was received. Any reasonable person would have been able to enjoy the space efficiently from that point in time. She demonstrated a very unrealistic and very selfish attitude towards others on the property. She was a bad guest, disturbing other residents and also negatively effecting other guests that were on the property, due to her very distasteful attitude towards everyone who was staying on the property, effecting peoples peace and enjoyment. The space was presented beautifully as the clean and rustic style space that is advertised. The hot tub was pristine for them and the outside area had been freshly cleaned and trimmed before her arrival. Her reflection is most certainly twisted and blown out of true context, as they stand to be ridiculous claims. Her bad attitude escalated when she wanted to book a tree house when she got to the property as she did not notice the listing options until then, unfortunately they were only available for one of her 3 night stays and we explained to her that she would have to pay for the cleaning costs if she moved from two buildings through her time. She was not happy about that. And it is clear she is still holding allot of unnecessary anger and blame towards undeserving people for unjustified reasons, while we all only tried to help her. Good luck to this woman, as she needs to learn how she can enjoy her life.

The property owner and a permanent residence are the only people who are aloud dogs as per these guests were aware of as well as the mattress set up. They are obviously upset as they wanted to cancel for their change of travel plans, though due to the short notice they were denied a refund. VERY Disapointing and unappreciative people who should not travel to people's home if they just want to complain about the clear terms of the situation that they booked.

Unfortunately the parents fail to see that their own children kept over feeding the animals. They kept coming up to the animal feed bin, when they saw me empty a whole new pack. I was unaware that they kept coming up over the course of their stay and they totally overfed all the animals, that's probably why they have noticed extra poo around the rental space. A bag of feed normally lasts us a good week unfortunately this bag only lasted 2 days due to their children coming up helping themselves with out permission. Reading their review now it is very disappointing that we got one star taken off along with feed missing as well. It would have been nice if they could appreciate that their children enjoyed the animals immensely and of course you can't have one without the other,when you have animals you have poo! Especially when you're own children are overfeeding the animals around the space,You're gonna have more of it. We shouldn't be penalised or blamed for this. Please note when the animals get overfed they become sick and they yell out through the whole day expecting to be fed that much and they become a nuisance when they are treated this way we are left with the management of this and they just get to enjoy it. We wrote a positive review for them despite the fact that we were at a loss with animal feed and left with animals that expect to be overfed!
