Great place with basic amenities for an easy getaway
We all enjoyed our stay. The property guidance signs are small so it’s best to arrive before dark. We even saw a deer pass by the property! There was a grill outside and the heater worked great inside for the chilly days. We used the tabletop toaster oven and counter cooktop for anything else we needed. I wish there was a good tea pot or tea kettle. Also, as frequent travelers, we like trying local coffee but we don’t always want to buy a whole bag of it so a small sample available to use in the coffee maker would be amazing. The major fully stocked local grocery stores are 20-30 min away. The view is great, remember it is lakeside so it will be on a slope! The walkway to the house is steep and with really low lake levels, the stairway is a mini hike down to the water. Feels like you’re in the middle of nature but still with a distant view of the city. We enjoyed a bottle of Chardonnay at the Chardonnay, cheers! Would absolutely recommend and stay here again during the spring time - want to see the colors when everything is in bloom!

Great Porch!
Stayed with our boat. Great place to tie off. I would not do it again though unless a closer ramp was available. We ended up having boat troubles and it was not nice to have our trailer and the ramp so far apart. It has a nice swimming area. The doc is a serious climb, 122 stairs for just the 1st part. We tried to not forget anything when we walked down, but did a few times! We have a hardtop and a dually. We had to park before the gate. The street leading to the property is more like a long driveway just so you know. You may want to bring your own drying towels and paper towels. They have one towel with the normal cheep paper towels. The porch is really comfortable with a nice view. It would be a great place to rent out if you needed both units. We really enjoyed staying here! For Vacasa, we called to ask a question when we checked in. We waited for 10 min and had to give up. The fridge needs to be elevated a little bit. You can take off the skin on your toe as you open it. It would be nice to have a lamp in the bunk room. It would also be nice to have several towel hooks. Pretty ridiculous also that we are asked to clean up the sheets and towels. Under the beds are pretty dusty. Not cool to reach back there when toys fall. The rest of the place was clean.

Memorial weekend
Loved this house. The view was amazing and the house was clean. The location was perfect. The keypad on front door was not working so we had to contact them in order to get into the lock box to get the code to the key. A few recommendations would be to keep extra trash bags. We weren’t really sure what to do with the full trash either since there were not trash bins outside anywhere. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would like to come back.

Amazing property!
Amazing stay at an amazing property! Very clean, great views, and very quiet. A few cons though ( however these cons are so minor that it won’t prevent me from booking this again): -faucet in the bathroom very loose -wish there was a washer/dryer in the unit -the front door lock was a tad difficult to use and the code never worked for us (we had to use the spare key) -better pillows… they’re all flat so I ended up using the decorative pillow from the couch to sleep on Other than that, perfect place to stay! You won’t regret the views and the peace and quiet that you’ll get, when booking this property 😍

Spectacular views
The views were amazing. If you want to truly get away from the hustle and bustle, this property is it! With that said, it's on a steep incline, so not a good choice for people that may have issues walking up and down a steep sidewalk or down steep staircases to get to the water. There is no oven - only a countertop toaster so plan ahead. And bring your own coffee, there's no Keurig - only a conventional coffee pot. Lasty, bring your own bag of ice and some extra trash bags. The trash can in the kitchen is pretty small and there's no ice maker in the freezer.

Good view, facility, and property but poor checking in process
Overall is good. Accurate description and nice view and enjoyed the stay. However, the incorrect check in instruction provided by property manager. The manager should be more proactive if the text content were wrong and should give a call to check on the visitor. I spent time at late evening to figure out the wrong instruction while with my elders standing outside in cold weather. Until reached out to the property owner onsite to get in touch with the property manager. The other visitor at next room had the same check in issue so I found out I am not the only case.

Unique vineyard accommodations
Clean, spacious and off the beaten path. Paved path to the house with a fairly steep grade. We didn’t cook but had all we needed for light breakfasts and evening beverages. Thanks for the hospitality.

Beautiful views and very clean property
The views are beautiful. House was very clean when we arrived. Our main issue was that we didn’t receive all info before checking in. We were giving a gate code and that’s pretty much it. We arrived late and it is very dark on the property. We had no idea how to get to the unit once we made it through the gate. Had to call a 24 hour hotline to get info on where to go. Once we found the unit, we realized we didn’t have a code or any info to get inside. We had to make a call again. The woman was very helpful. Once inside everything was perfect. It was clean and exactly how the pictures appeared online. Since we got there so late we didn’t see the amazing views until morning; beautiful. It says that you can swim off the dock. I did not feel that was able to happen. There is no ladder to get in/out of the water. If you have little ones or elderly it would be difficult. The stairs leading to the dock are very steep. We found a place about 10 min away to go swimming. On the day of checkout we received a message with all info that would have been so helpful on our check in day. Very peaceful and beautiful views. I would definitely stay again

Peaceful haven, great gathering spot
Gorgeous views, a peaceful location, clean and comfortable accommodations, a responsive and helpful property manager, and the gregarious owner who tends his vineyards daily make this property outstanding. As a 65-year-old, I relived joyful times in a Senior GalPal Slumber Party with several friends who stayed overnight in the room with a double bed on the bottom and twin bed on the top bunk. The time was unforgettable, and we decided to make it an annual event. I'm so grateful for the family that built and made this place available for people like us to share!

Peaceful, quiet and beautiful
I stayed 2 nights with my daughters and we had so much fun. The views are beautiful, the property is so quiet and I felt really safe. We grilled out and cooked meals, played games and watched movies. We also hung out at the boat dock too. Really a relaxing peaceful getaway for me and my family.

Guys Fishing Getaway on Lake Travis
We had a great time at Chardonnay Haus/Lakefront Villa in Lago Vista. We rented a boat from Trevor nearby on the lake using Boatsetter App. We fished Lake Travis and enjoyed a day trip into Austin to visit the State Capitol building and Bob Bullock History of Texas Museum. Great place to stay.

Lovely lakefront property on a vineyard
We absolutely loved this property and our stay! From the 2 bedrooms including bunk beds for the kids, to the scenic back porch views of Lake Travis, to the fun climb down stairs to the private dock, all situated on the family vineyard. We would stay here again. Be prepared for sulfur smelling water though.

Incredible Month on the Lake
This property was perfect for what we were looking for. We were right on the water with a beautiful view. We were able to dock our boat into one of the slips while we stayed. The owners live on the property and are extremely friendly and give you all the space you need. They really made it feel like this was our home for a month.

Fantastic location
Loved the location of the lakehouse & the amenities it provided. We enjoyed the lakefront access because we can just jump in the water for swimming. The boat slip was an added bonus; we were able to bring our waverunner & docked it there overnight. Overall our family enjoyed a relaxing & peaceful vacation at this lakehouse.

It's a beautiful property with its own floating dock. We did not get to enjoy the property to it's full potential. No one's fault but ours since We spent most of our time exploring surrounding towns. We did walk down to the floating dock and we came across what seemed dog poop. The duplex is perfect for a family of 4. The bedrooms and bath are just the right size. My only complaint - not having a place to set my bar soap down. A shower caddy would have been great.

Loved the view!
My husband, myself, and our 2 year old daughter spent the weekend and loved it. Clean property, beautiful views, and large living/eating area. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had a lot of appliances which was nice! Only hiccup we had was with the gate that was being serviced at the time of our stay. But after contacting the property management company, we were helped after about 40 mins. Other than that the property is beautiful and the gate shouldn’t be an issue for future travelers as it was fixed after we left.

Not what we expected
Guys if you’re looking for a weekend getaway with the family, or with significant other this is not the place lol however, it really is a nice property. The owner lives 50 feet away above the property, and can enter the home whenever he wants. Also this home is like a condo, which is split in half with another unit. So to keep it short, not too much privacy to say the least. The agent will not let you know this information, so please read this before booking any days. So you won’t be in the same position we are today. If you want to be completely alone and secluded, this is not the place. Nice views though to say the least. Lol keep it weird Austin.

Wonderful property, just what I wanted. BUT, property manager has some work to do.
Property was just what I wanted. Perfect location, great view, quiet, cliff, overlooking water. Great deck and nicely decorated and appointed. Booking and check in were smooth and easy. But, after entering property, it hadn’t been cleaned! Total bummer after driving all day. Property management was apologetic, very polite, and had someone there to take care of it within the hour. The cleaning and linen change was thorough, but cleaner asked if I needed the extra bedroom, which I didn’t, it wasn’t made up! And just because I didn’t need the extra bedroom, it should have been cleaned along with the rest of the house because I still spent the same money. I’d stay there again because I loved the location, seclusion, view, and deck. But the property management needs to get it together. I appreciate them making some compensation, but it wasn’t really about the money; it was about having a place to unwind for a few days.

We've been coming here for 6 years now.. Every summer.. They have made some much needed improvements.. I was so happy to see the death stairs gone and brand new stairs.. Plus a new smart big screen.. The condos are so clean and nice.. The smell of the water is not so nice but nothing a chorcol filter couldn't fix.. There's a nice boat dock that's very private and we spent hours just floating in the water.. Very relaxing..

We enjoyed the house and loved the dock since we had a boat and was able to leave it on the water during the vacation. The property was beautiful with the vineyard on the premises. Great view of the lake! The only thing we wished the description would have included was that it is a duplex. We were not aware of this until we arrived. Other than that it was terrific. Luckily we had great neighbors!!

Amazing lake view
Great property on lake travis with a private boat dock. Large covered balcony overlooking the lake. Backs up to a beautiful vineyard. Stairs and sidewalks to the property and the dock are in great shape but it is a bit of a workout coming up from the dock area. Property sits on a quite cove. One of the ceiling fans on the patio was missing all of the blades.

Our stay was good, should be better directions to find the place.
I was very disappointed in the amount we had to pay for cleaning service for the small place. The fees didn’t show up until I was going to check out and it was to late to get out of the rental. $150.00 for two days seems really high.

Lake Travis amazing!
We had an amazing stay at the Villas, Chardonnay Haus!! The property was secluded and quiet. It was super clean and we really enjoyed the guest dock. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to visit Lake Travis. And the lakefront view was amazing!!
